Second time through the order and he looks human. Should have him out by the time the order turns over.

at least Williams pitch count is getting up there

Grichuk >>> Benintendi

That inning failure is squarely on Andrew.

Yep. Gotta go Grichuk rest of series.

The Beni and Peter's AB's were terrible for the situation

Peters can't go up there chasing a pitch over his head on the 1st pitch in that situation

Well let's get another shut down inning

Nah it was on 1st pitch swinging Peters….

Just awful at bats after Mune. Luckily we scored 1

Willis told him to stop nibbling and challenge us with fastballs. It worked. I don't know if I've seen a worse AB from Beni. Dude went up there with a blindfold on.

He took such a deep breath after the first pitch. Definitely overwhelmed.

Williams at 75 pitches after 4

His regular season high is 113, but that was the Peters 18 pitch AB game from a few weeks back

He more typically capped out around 103

Not sure what they see in B Montgomery. I have not been impressed.

I mean he's only 23 and spent one year in the minors. He was pushed here early because they had no other viable options.

Been wondering that all year. He had a massive leash

Problem is this is as bad as he’s looked. Immediately flying open, has no plate coverage at all and then missing breaking ball by a foot.

Need burke to have quick inning to get bats back up. Made William work that inning for 26 pitches. Hes only goes about 5 innings vs sox

Braden overmatched and afraid.

nobody even advanced the runners

you can't win without putting more pressure on

Benintendi wasn't even close to making any contact

Huh? Because the Sox swung at every pitch Williams threw? Braden did not check his swing.

Quick 1-2-3 here and let’s go finish the job boys…

I like Benintendi, but he is not good unless he is getting regular at bats. Not good after lengthy layoffs.

Should be a lot of lefties in Chicago

Too bad Brden swung at ball four. At least we got Williams pitch count to 75 thru four innings
