  1. Agreed as ivwill be in attendance.

  2. This seems like an over reaction. In fact, I think worrying about who the opening day starter any season is an over reaction.

  3. 1. They needed a bunch of things. 2. If the Bengals want a 1st and 2nd for Hendrickson, should he have done it? You seem to not agree with trading draft picks. They called on Garret, and the Browns decided to pay him. And there is a reason Hendrickson hasn’t moved yet. You want to lay out a specific road map for how they should have approached the offseason, different than what they did…I’m all ears. But if you’re going to complain about moves then state “I’m mad but also don’t know what I’m talking about because I made the choice to be uneducated on the topic I’m talking about” then you open yourself up to be called a fool.

  4. I'm definitely on team Burke. He's got a shot.

  5. Huh. Very cool for him. Even though I thought Davis Martin deserved it.

  6. I wish him more strikeouts than walks and HRs in this new endeavor.

  7. Bad fans support Reinsdorf.

  8. Why would you say you are a bad fan? Everyone does it the way they want.

  9. Well I guess I’m a bad fan because I will not go to games until they start trying to win. On the other hand, if going to games makes you a good fan, I’ve gone to well over 1000 so I’m probably a better fan than anyone here. I still watch the games, but am not engaged like I was. Hopefully, someday I will again. I love baseball and the White Sox, but have had enough of the total incompetence. I’ve been a fan my whole life. Had season tickets since the last year at the old park. Having to be good was never a requirement. I saw plenty of bad White Sox teams. This downward turn was very different though, and they have lost me until they fix it.

  10. I love Edgar's adjustments late in at bats and his willingness to go with pitches rather than force anything. He's gonna be special offensively.

  11. Sad thing is I’m getting considered a Meidroth hater, which I’m not because I’ve never seen him play before ST. My observations from ST is he’s overmatched at this level. I hope he proves me wrong.

  12. I disagree. 104 EV right over your head is pretty tough.

  13. Good for Burke. He has the best stuff of the 4 guys named. Ultimately it doesn’t matter as everyone is the #1 on the day they go.

  14. Hoping Burke is successful on Opening Day and will help lead the team to a great 2025 season!!!!

  15. Ahh, I get it. Too many good players here.

  16. I just hope the weather is nice, the stadium is packed, and, most important of all, that everyone has fun.

  17. Wait, so you said word for word “I’m not impressed with how Poles spent his money” but you also “didn’t follow free agency that closely” so how would you know what he could spend his money on? By definition, using your own words, you’re uneducated on the topic. Why are you comfortable forming an opinion on something you are uneducated on? I know it’s 2025 and that’s what so many do…but doesn’t seem like the most logical decision making.

  20. Nothing left to prove in AAA. His success in that league is much more important than anything that has happened this spring. I'm hoping he's the opening day shortstop.

  22. Right now, Sosa is probably the best all-around SS on the team. Rojas is #2. Sosa is probably the best at second base, too. So, they will probably bench Sosa to start season.

  23. Maybe if it’s all the same to anyone, then you just roll with whoever seems to be most physically ready to bring his stuff and go the longest. Whoever.

  24. Ligaments are static structures designed to support joints by holding to bones together. They stretch a little when joints move. Tendons connect muscles to bones. They contract and expand while helping to move one bone to another. In this case the ulnar collateral ligament holds the humerus and ulna together and keeps the elbow stable during the throwing motion. The flexor tendon refers to the wrist flexor muscles. While their primary function is to bend the wrist. However they originate near the elbow and cross the joint right over the UCL. The tendon acts as a secondary support to the elbow joint. The issue is that a pitcher can strain the wrist flexor muscles while flexing the wrist while throwing. This joint structures maintains its stability in this case. However the muscle can also be strained if the UCL becomes stretched and the muscles becomes the primary stabilizer of the joint. Thus a strain of the flexor can have 2 causes the primary strain is fairly easy to rehab. The secondary strain isn't the big issue. It's getting the ligament to heal.

  26. These guys play every day. If they're not in a scheduled game, I'm pretty sure they're in drills and B-games in the morning. I think Bergolla has solidly put himself on the map in the middle infield picture.

  27. Not joining the Bergolla hype train quite yet, lol? Sosa also seems to be cooling off a bit, but the sporadic playing time isn't helping much...hopefully these last 10 days or whatever the regular line-up can get more repetitions together. Also looks like Teel gets a quality/competitive at-bat up there on most occasions, never looks that over-matched.

  30. For what it's worth, I've heard from a lot of respectable people with a lot of knowledge inside the baseball business that the Sox are building the right way this time. They are bringing in the right mix of coaches, players and directors, and their methodologies are improving. I think Chris Getz has the right idea for how to right this ship. Now we just need TLR to leave and Jerry to sell to Ishbia...both of which will probably happen at the same time 😆

  35. He's got 0% chance of being as good as Crochet, but he could be a young Freddy Garcia with a better k/9. Good 4 pitch mix, plus velo, big body and extension.

  43. Terrible, if true. At least the hat would hopefully be better, not a fan of the CHI hat.

  44. Yeah the Sox could just keep the old ones as regular uniforms and still have the new ones and a whole other slot open.

  45. So the MLB loses the #1 and #2 city connect jerseys... lame What is controversial about them?
    1 point
  46. It's not up to the Sox. Getting forced upon all these teams. Actually this whole batch of teams are all at the top for best uniforms (except Boston...). Good news is we get 5 uniforms. Home, away and new ccs will be three of them. Can still keep the old city connects in the rotation.

  47. I like our jerseys but they certainly are made more for players. The avg fan wearing one is a tough look!
