The lack of adjustments by Will along with no sense of urgency is exasperating. Not moving Mune out of the second spot is managerial malpractice. Also don’t like to hit the strikeout prone Montgomerys back to back. Will needs to have better lineup construction. IMO.

The problem wasn't the decision, it's that he hesitated and made it an easy play at the plate. If he is going to go on contact, he has to be all in. Once he hesitated and drew the SS's attention, he needed to go back. He could have even deked to try to draw a throw and gone back, but he can't be out there in no mans land on a play like that.

I've thought Getz was doing OK until this deadline fiasco. Even the one player who was having a good year tanked the second he got here. No idea why he wanted Castillo or the centerfielder. Now our minor league is a lot thinner to boot. Disastrous moves. Ishbia will show him the door on the first day he's in charge.

Doesn't take a scout to know Castillo sucked and is likely cooked. They were trying to get rid of him, nobody else wanted him, he had negative value, and you actually gave them something in return. Everyone called the trade garbage from the start. Just inexcusable.

The deadline acquisitions absolutely made this team worse. I have no clue how anyone can deny that....and we have them all next year too. The only bright spot I can see about that is that Brazoban has been better in the early part of seasons just not later. I guess I'll reserve judgement over whether Joey Bart sucks.

Last year at the end of September, the White Sox had the worst record in the AL Actually they had 10 more losses than the next worse team. Now on 9/3, the White Sox have the 4th best record in the AL. Yes the Central division is weak but they have at least gone from being a AAA equivalent team to a chance to win their division. But posters today our complaining about Venable and Getz. They did not pour money in to this franchise to get it to go from 102 losses to 7 games over .500 today. They found new talent via trades or draft picks which has at least turned this team within one season. Yet fans are complaining more about Getz and Venable instead of complaining about Jerry Reinsdorf. The White Sox payroll is currently ranked 14th out of 15th in the AL. From last season to today I think this team has had a major turn around despite the lack of funding that Jerry gave to the team.

With Mune collapsing...his resume is basically Vargas Peters the Crochet trade & Colson's sort of being fixed.

Have to be done with Castillo for the year. For the year! He’s more than bad. Schriffen just told us where he’s at: in 5 of his 6 starts with the Sox, he has not given the Sox any reasonable chance to win. Think about that: Five out of six with no chance for the Sox to win. Sit him down for the season. Sox can worry about him over the winter, but for now, do everything to win the division. And sitting Castillo is an obvious step towards winning it.

Murakami needs to sit for a couple days. Castillo is washed. Give Sandlin his spot. We can't throw these games away. Your playing for a Division with 22 games left. Every game now is a must win. I don't want to see Castillo again this season.

Getz has somehow found a way to make trades that make his team worse at the deadline. Castillo is toast.
