I agree this needs to be rectified. Let Timmy start a new one and merge this one into Timmy's  thread. Because superstition.

Why did Lip supplant @Timmy U as the starter of the Game Thread today?

This game was over before it even started when the cursed game thread was not rectified.

This incident must be disclosed prominently in future May 8th "This Day in Sox History" threads.

embrace the suck guys, rooting for this dumpster fire before big changes are made is a fools errand, they might play .450 ball the rest of the year, they might even have the offense to get above that, but my god this pitching staff, just up and down the roster. Katz has gotta go lol, like he NEEDS to be fired ASAP.

I caught the last 2 innings on the radio driving. Royals announcers were mocking the Sox pitching. Denny Mathews pointed out how bad the starters have been and said the bullpen has struggled. "After that, there's nobody left," he said to laughter.

Lot of ball to be played in a four-game series. Losing all four would likely assure no advance ticket sales basically the rest of the season. Maybe on the spur of the moment this summer a fan might go on secondary market and buy a cheap ticket for a good seat. Losing three of four would keep things status quo, Sox fans realizing the team blows. Winning three of four would be another nice series win. Splitting would probably be fitting since KC blows too. We shall see.

The vitriol goes to Hahn because he has earned that vitriol.

Yeah, but it’s useless. Does it make everyone feel better to point that vitriol at him when there’s no action taken?

Sometimes it's therapeutic, and it helps build critical mass of disgust at Jerry and Hahn.

I agree the more concrete method is to stop giving Jerry a penny, stop going to their website or engaging in any of their other social media, and if you are part of the TV or radio system, zero ratings. If tickets are a sunk cost, don't spend a penny there including parking, or just don't go.

Set a record low attendance record and cancel their worthless asses. Disgust is working against Bud Light, Fox and other organizations. Jerry / Michael finally took action after people stopped going to Bulls games.

Also the bullpen falling apart continually like this is unreal. I’ve suspected Katz was bad at bullpen management for a while but this is beyond bad.

He's bad at something, never deserved the halo so many of you had hung on him, but when you don't have a reliable arm in the pen, bullpen management is not the problem.

Who gets credit for Rodon 2021 and Cueto 2020?

Santos and Middleton?

Lambert?

Not sure how he's responsible for Lynn and Clevinger at this stage in their careers.

He gets credit and now blame for Cease, or Dylan was always going to be consistent?

Giolito has recovered nicely this season, compared to last.

Kopech...I guess there's another enigma.
