Chris Sale's nickname is the Condor? Say what?

Yes, I believe this is a SSS thing. From the side during his motion, with his arms out to his side, he looks like a condor.

I can see it for sure, but I have NEVER heard anyone use that nickname.

Hopefully it was planned to be this short, as that doesn't seem like a full bullpen session.

Chris Sale's bullpen session lasted around 20 pitches. He's headed back in. Should have word on him and closer from Ventura in an hour.

Sale threw a light sideline session, then ran all the way from bullpen to dugout. Raised both arms with smile on his face at end of the run.

How far did he raise arms? Sounds like Tommy John!

White Sox manager Robin Ventura on Tuesday refused to name a set closer while Matt Lindstrom (ankle) was on the disabled list.

Ventura mentioned that he has a few options among guys that have pitched well lately. Ronald Belisario would certainly qualify, as he hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 17 1/3 innings and boasts 13/1 K/BB ratio over that time. Daniel Webb and Jacob Petricka, who earned the save Monday after Lindstrom exited, could also be in the mix.

Per Rotoworld.
