  1. Cool, Mazara for Clevinger. submit trade
  2. All of the sudden we’re good and people want to give away long term great players for mediocre short term help. please no
  3. The best use of Kopech is to let him pitch for the Sox the next 7 years.
  4. If I wake up and a trade was announced at midnight I’ll be so pissed. Nobody is allowed to discuss anything while I’m sleeping.
  5. I love Madrigal because he makes so many people here angry, love his little bloop hits!
  6. I really think anyone wanting the Sox to trade Kopech is being really short sided. I get some may be pissed he opted out, but with the surgery, his marriage in shambles, his estranged wife pregnant, and his admitted mental health issues, it seems like the right call for him. He was throwing 100 this spring. He is a bit different, but he works his ass off. If you loved him before he opted out, you should still love him.
  7. I just don’t see why you trade kopeck - not unless you are getting a cost controlled stud. Kopech may bust but you just don’t trade guys with that kind of stuff. Those are the rare type of ponies that if you can get and they get close to reaching their potential you just smile as they can carry you straight through the post season. Their literally isn’t a pitcher in the org with Kopechs upside and you can probably count on one the number of pitching prospects in the game with his upside. Yes - it has been a couple years since we saw him pitch but they still have a ton of cost controlled years on the guy. Please Hahn - don’t panic and pull a Padres here. Especially not when first round of playoff is a best of 3. Let’s let it ride largely with guys we have. If you want to make a small deal for good value fine. Now if it is Collins, heurer, and Lopez for a stud fine. Or swap in Burdi I suppose. And I think Burdi has stud reliever potential if he can get his command down.
  8. I would have had us signing Castellanos a long time ago!
  9. The Padres went through all that to build that system and are ready to burn it d9wn for a taste of success. It's exactly what I want the Sox to avoid.
  10. If the White Sox had Clevinger and traded him to the Tribe while tied with them for first place with 26 games left, the mods here would not be able to do their real jobs for a while. They would be too busy suspending and banning accounts.
  11. That's a much better use of Kopech than Lynn or Clevinger. Woodruff is under control until 2025.
  12. lol I truly wonder if you even watch this team
  13. This is easily the ugliest series in a while, but good teams find ways to win when things aren't always going your way!
  14. I await Ricky's fan to appear to provide how this is all part of some master plan.
  15. I am very, very high on Michael Kopech. He is damn near untradeable for me. Unless the Sox know his "issues" are that severe then he absolutely should be staying here.
  16. You met Ricky at a bar the other night DA? Been defending him all day.
  17. The problem is we have no idea if fans will be at games next year at this point.
  18. Kopech is too unstable to have a substantial career. He should be available. Tough luck.
  19. I don’t disagree with their perspective but also HAHAHAHA no.
  20. If they trade this guy for fucking Lance Lynn im gonna throw up
  21. c) Don't make those trades. I'll take c
  22. call me a meathead but im not up for giving up a lot of talent in a trade. I know the Dodgers havent won a WS with their dominance over the last few years but they have wave after wave of crushing prospects and impact players come up every year. Get what you can if the price is right, but dont make yourself weaker in 2021+.
  23. Grandal is signed for four years to play a bunch; if thats the argument keeping us from dealing away Collins to acquire someone that can help us in the playoffs, I'm not sure its a persuasive one.
  24. McCann adds value and longevity to Grandal allowing him to rest his legs by playing !B or DHing, yet still taking advantage of his bat. The Sox are in a win now mode so pay McCann. This thing is working. Did you see McCann today with the clutch double or the laser throw to third base? Or the no-hitter he caught?
  25. I wouldn’t mind If nobody gets traded. Take a shot with the current roster this year. Spend money on RF and SP in the offseason. Trading Grandal would be ok with me if it is followed by an extension for McCann.
  26. Cease as the main piece for Woodruff actually makes a ton of sense for us. You upgrade your #3 spot to help in the playoffs. Cease's peripherals have been terrible, you'd basically be selling high on him right now with his nice ERA.
  27. I would be pissed if we trade Dunning. Dude has dominated in the minors and looks like he can more than hold his own in the majors. Reminds me a lot of Aaron Nola actually.
  28. Does Cease have more perceived value because he is a former Cubs prospect? He would be someone I would deal before Kopech or Dunning
  29. Guys if they get Gallo and Lynn I'm going to need to go to the ER for a 4 hour erection, which if you remember correctly, that'd be my second trip in 9 days (the massacre of the Cubs)
  30. i spent the morning arguing we should trade Dunning + for Lance Lynn. WTF was I thinking? Dunning has had two of the best "first two starts" in the majors that I can remember for any Sox starter. This team!! Next year we replace Lopez with Kopech and EE with Vaughan. How do you spell juggernaut?
  31. Eloy just tore his elbow pouring water on Robert
  32. I'd trade him for Clevenger
  33. I put $100 on Madrigal homering every game. Same as a lotto ticket
  34. Zero confidence that the sox aren't 1 and done in the playoffs with this coaching staff. Have no fucking clue how to use their players correctly.
  35. Trading Kopech to Cleveland would be a huge mistake. With their pitching development he'll probably win multiple Cy Young awards there. With how good Dunning has looked, I don't see a reason to make a trade where'd you give up a Kopech, Vaughn, or Dunning. Just sign a FA pitcher in the offseason and keep the prospects
  36. I don't think I've ever seen an OPPOSING manager screaming at an ump for a check swing call lol. Matheny sticks up for his players more than Ricky.
  37. 3 straight games using Cordero... 4 in the last 5 games... and Ricky sees nothing wrong with it. I... I'm at a loss for words.
  38. His command has been sensational today, and I like the swings he’s getting on the change and curve
  39. If the Sox are willing to give up on Mazara, Gallo would be a very interesting player to consider.
  40. How about we keep Robert instead?
  41. The White Sox, because trading away 40 homers/year for the next 6 years for a #3 SP for 2 years is idiotic
  42. I have to think Cub fans were saying this about Eloy a few years ago.
  43. What dis bob https://twitter.com/BNightengale/status/1300112361546608641
