This is missing an arrow from SS to C. It’s called the TA line. im sorry but that will never stop being funny (to me)5 points

The entire fortune of the organization just changed drastically. The 2025 Sox just had one of the best possible years for a rebuilding team. They found a manager with exciting potential, they identified the foundation of an exciting core of guys, and they landed the first overall pick, in a draft with two elite talents at the top in the best draft class in several years. Rebuilds mean nothing if ownership doesn’t spend the money to augment the roster, but the is rebuild is super promising.3 points

There was people calling the score, and maybe even in this thread saying the bears should have traded for Shadeur. I think I’m good3 points

AAAA player, out all season. This is more of a courtesy than future substantial value for this team.3 points

Did Bellinger turn 35? Cuz that’s when the Sox will have a chance at signing him.3 points

Twitter is full of it. Even dinguses saying they will trade the pick like that’s a real thing.3 points

While I can only assuming you're mostly joking (haven't been following closely enough this offseason to know), if you're going to sign Bellinger (or really any player of note), you may as well hold Robert and hope he's healthy and good. It's just money at this point and I'd be surprised if Sox got any notable prospects for him right now. But he's as high an upside $20M flyer as you could find in the league, so I'm holding (yet again).2 points

The Sox always go up to their 5% overage, not the minimums2 points

The draft IS the one place where the Sox do spend.2 points

I figure if I keep saying it, it’s bound to eventually come to true right? That money we’ll save in a Robert trade has to be redeployed elsewhere.2 points

Sox officials are claiming that they’ll eat money for a better return. I was skeptical as well but that’s what’s being said.2 points

You expected the number one prospect in baseball for two years of Crochet?2 points

You must be referring to the immortal Oliver Dunn. Just wait till they sign Vinny Crapa back.1 point
-
No, that is stupid. The Bears have 10 wins with three games to go. If they lose on Saturday, but won the next two, they aren’t missing the playoffs with 12 wins.1 point

Currently the top headline at MLBTR. It’s an older post they updated. The mention of Crawford and Chace is my own, though.1 point

Elko is back with a MiLB deal. Obviously won't see him for awhile regardless1 point
-
Rosenthal is saying the Phils had recent interest in trading for Robert, which isn’t exactly shocking. I don’t like Crawford, but Moises Chace would be a good get.1 point
-
Obviously. I think the biggest signing of the offseason has already occurred.1 point

41st man on the Braves is the 38th (or whatever our 40 man is at) man for us. Makes sense at this juncture. My guess is they see something they want to try with him. If it works, great. If not just waive him. I wish him luck.1 point

What a fun season this has been. Looking forward to the final stretch. These last 3 games are going to be invigorating. And stressful lol. Hoping for a playoff push, I think this team can go deep. Bear down.1 point

Browns defense is good so it was nice to see the Bears run up the score a bit today.1 point

The stuff I've read is that the system isn't going to be overused lest a team run themselves out of appeals early in the game. If a catcher could keep the calls that are too near the zone to safely dispute, that still has value.1 point

Underspending? In the draft? I don’t think that penalty exists for the draft. If you’re talking about revenue sharing receivers, if they underspend, the penalty is that they lose their share of revenue sharing. There are no draft picks involved.1 point

Elko coming back was such a no brainer that was going to happen.1 point
-
Then why pick up the option? Either they trade him for some prospect or they hold until the deadline. I think a worst case scenario is us not eating any money and getting a post hype prospect like Acuna in return. I don’t think that will happen, but would be very disappointing.1 point

I 've been hoping that Getz would improve the team this off season. It certainly doesn't look like that is going to happen. If anything I'm expecting Robert Jr to be moved for next to nothing. The Robert Jr move will simply be a salary dump. I hope I'm wrong.1 point
-
We really need some White Sox action. Hopefully things are just slow because Getz & Boras are working out the final details for Bellinger and then the rest of the dominoes will start falling.1 point
-
Maybe instead of including money, JR could send some international bonus pool cash their way. It’s one of his favorites.1 point

Thanks Bama - when the offseason picks up ( we won’t make many moves ) I’ll post more when there’s actual discussion. Until then it’s just a circle jerk. 😆1 point
-
With the #1 pick, the Sox also get the largest amount of bonus pool money. They are NOT going to skip over the person they like best because of signing bonus money.1 point
-
The White Sox could win 76 or 77 games and it won’t change their draft position in 2027. Why not try to be decent. A couple of crazy things happen, and you have a fun summer.1 point

They want to legitimately compete...stop pretending Mead Vargas Sosa and Quero are 1B men!!!1 point

Getz should get drunk tonight and sign an outfielder.1 point

Teel can hit and can play outfield. He's obviously the most valuable. To me Quero passed the eye test at catcher; he's 22. Lots of potential And I still like Lee as a backup. Don't trade any, unless it's for a premium (and a big premium for Teel).1 point
-
Absolutely have to keep both. The catcher position is prone to injuries, they can’t afford to trade one of these catchers, only to see the other one get hurt.1 point
