Sunday Night Baseball tonight or I’m sure it would have been a day game.

Right but most place wouldn't have a 1:20 game on Friday and Saturday leading up to it.

Eloy thankfully survived the twelve innings he played in left field. I would support Tony if he rested him today, or removed him early like he did Friday. There are bigger fish to fry than the Chicago Cubs.

Perhaps Sheets or Lamb gets a start in RF as well, though sadly that would likely come at the expense of Andrew, who has been on fire. Hopefully Engel will play in CF to lock down the defense.

My preferred lineup, can see Tony messing with up to 3 of these choices.

SS TA; 2B CH; 1B JA; 3B YM; CF AE; RF BG; LF AV; C SZ; SP DC

Not sure I want to see Vaughn in the line-up against any decent RH starter, but against a AAA team with a AA starter... what difference does it make? Sox are going to whip the Cubs tonight no matter who is in the line-up.

Tony said postgame yesterday that Eloy will likely be in LF today

He has been our best hitter for the past month no matte what pitcher we face.

Between the game being broadcast on every ABC-TV station across the country tonight, and the Field of Dreams game getting shown on FOX on Thursday, the Sox are going to get a tremendous amount of national exposure this week.

Hopefully it’s the beginning of a lot of time spent on the national stage as we journey through this competitive window.

Dude has been killing righties for almost 2 months now.  Not sure if he kicked your dog or your mad he has a bigger shoe size than you but your bias against Vaughn is super strange.

Agreed. Makes sense to bench your hottest hitter.

Right, but I hope they don’t embarrass themselves like has happened in previous nationally televised games.
