Did Santos have a diagnosed UCL sprain? I thought his was a flexor muscle strain. And Tanaka was never quite the Yakamoto-esque ace he was close to billed and when KW offered him one of the biggest contracts in Sox history after the ARod debacle. He was more like a 2/3 for the majority of that deal…pitching at 85-90% previous effectiveness. We will see how long Santos lasts at max velo this year.
