Must be nice to still have money for other stuff when you're doing stuff like this.

Treinen T.Scott and Kirby Yates were all closers at various points last year, but it ended up with Sasaki in the post season.

Not sure if they are going to try to trade Glasnow and then let Sheehan, Wrobleski and Roki fight it out for the last spot.

Henriquez has closer stuff as well.

Still need to address LF or possibly trade one of their young outfield prospects and/or D.Rushing to acquire one.  Or simply just buy one in FA...just don't think it would be Tucker at this point.

Robert Suarez now the biggest "name" closer remaining.

"Diaz will slot into the ninth inning, pushing Scott to a setup role alongside Alex Vesia, Blake Treinen, Anthony Banda, Brock Stewart and Graterol. Will Klein, Ben Casparius and Jack Dreyer all had solid or better seasons in 2025, but if everyone is healthy — far from a given — there’s only room for one of that trio in the final bullpen spot. Of course, injuries will inevitably create opportunities for many of the Dodgers’ overqualified depth arms, and each of Klein, Casparius, Dreyer and Edgardo Henriquez have minor league options remaining."

Dodgers can either trade Glasnow...one of a handful of young starters (Sasaki Sheehan Wrobleski Casparius and rehabbing River Ryan)...trade catcher D.Rushing or one of their four young outfield prospects.

Or just simply buy a corner outfielder.

Need to get much younger on the position player side. Andy Pages is their only true young starter there.

Dodgers aren’t trading Glasnow or Sasaki. Why even mention them — Are you on crack again?

How do you KNOW this with any degree of absolure certainty?  He's their most volatile pitching asset based on that injury history.

Sasaki's value is down, sure, and so is Rushing's.

There's about 20 articles in the last week to Ten days specilating about a Glasnow trade.

I put as much weight into their speculation as I do the truds I flushed down the toilet last night.

Disappointing but not terrible IMO.  Injuries do happen.  He got some big hits last year.  Vaughn was crap until he was great for Milwaukee.  I'm hoping the new coaches can unlock some of this talent.

0.6 accumulative bWAR over 3 seasons at $15 million per year and $75 million total IS terrible.

There was actually a rumor Glasnow could be dealt

A LOT more than one.

It's all over the place.

If you think about selling high, well it's certainly unlikely to be Ohtani or Matsumoto.

Blake Snell is just a left handed version of Cease with a long contract that very few teams could afford to take on.

If they really believed in Rushing, they would trade W.Smith, but that's not happening either.
