  1. Because of a detestable owner who hired an inexperienced guy for GM who hired a rookie manager who doesn’t have clue.
  2. For those of you playing at home, the probable pitchers for today's contest are: Matz vs Leasure With Reese McGuire warming up in the parking lot

They absolutely do not have a lot of good players
  4. Funny that the team beating up on the Sox the last two nights actually has a lower payroll for this year, as do Cleveland and Miami. Two of those teams have a winning record and the third team is just one game under .500. Proof that you can compete with a low payroll, but you have to know what you are doing.

Unqualified man gets leadership position and fails….

We have like two average regulars, a potentially good player in Teel maybe two decent relievers and maybe one future rotation piece. It's almost comical how bad it looks given the pieces he traded off and with three full offseasons to fill smoking craters all over the roster with just bad starters. We don't even have a single bad starter vet. Beni is just replacement level since 2024 and he gets his 25 PA a week steady. No urgency, no accountability, no plan, no clue.
  7. Until JR is dirt surfing nothing will change, he promoted a failed minor league director as GM. All these new faces organization wise brought in under Getz have been underwhelming to say the least.

I have been pretty patient with Getz. I’m not sure I can watch much more of this garbage.
  9. It's a shame this huge crowd has to go home disappointed.

The Twins turned Griffin Jax into Taj Bradley. Meanwhile, all I hear about with the Sox bad returns is that there's nothing Getz can do about that.
  11. Also im tired of watching for prospect performance. Who the f*** cares anymore? Even the decent ones come up, are surrounded by garbage players, and receive inferior coaching as they wallow at the big league level.
  12. It’s actually worse… .316 winning percentage. On pace for 51-111. Still better than last season. Last year’s team was 4-15 after 19 games. Getz improved the team!

  14. This team is levels worse than the 2024 team. I don't know how you look at this roster, and even try to claim you've improved it. The pitching is as dreadful as 2024, and now you don't even have guys like Moncada/Eloy/Robert in the 2026 version. This could easily be the worst MLB roster baseball has seen.
  15. Need a homer to tie and you bring up some of the weakest hitters in baseball. Someone please tell Antonacci this approach will have him back in AAA shortly.
  16. Hard to believe but I am pretty sure this bullpen is worse that last season.
  17. Don't despair the Sox have the heart of the order coming up!
  18. Just wish the Commissioner could to step in and force Reinsdorf to sell.
  19. I'm sorry, at this point, the league should just step in and say 'this franchise isn't even trying'.
  20. Epitome of this team. Sorry to be jumping in to just be negative but this guy is as epic a failure of a signing as anyone of recent memory. Look at opening day and then this debacle. He should have stayed out there until it is over. Make this loser wear it.
  21. What I'm telling myself and it's bound to happen but neither of those guys are going to be on this roster by the end of the year.
  22. Vargas has been murdering the ball over his last ~10 plate appearances and he finally got something out of it
  23. Yandy isn't hitting 40 homers a year but every time I see him he's an absolute menace to deal with. Takes great ABs and makes a lot of hard contact.
  24. The "Light" is named Ishbia. Try to stay alive to see what he may be able to do. Regarding Acuna, it has been speculated for years that Sox G.M.'s were telling managers who to play and how often. Maybe that's the case here, where getz is telling Venable to keep playing him. Getz is under enough fan pressure and maybe doesn't want to feel the brunt of another fan blowback due to a poor trade. Maybe he thinks playing him, he'll eventually start to turn it around.
  25. This situation appears to me that nobody is being held accountable for this situation. I'm really starting to wonder about this Whits Sox manager. Last night Everson Pereira hit a home run. Tonight he didn't play. Wouldn't you want somebody in your lineup who just hit a home run? Yet he keeps running out Acuna who has been useless. I noticed at the end of the game the manager was laughing about something. I don't think this game was anything to laugh about. This is a terrible situation this team is in.There doesn't appear to be any light at the end of the tunnel. And it seems like the people running this don't care.
  26. All the waiver-wire deals Getz does with Tampa, only to his team flummoxed by Getz waivee Scholtens. Running a baseball organization just isn't his bag. Getz just isn't good at this.
  27. So you're saying the move is actually "No, MORE Benintendi!"
  28. I have never seen a major league team with less qualified MLB hitters that exist on this team right now
  29. I can't help but wonder what if anything will be happen if this team keeps losing. I don't think JR cares if this team wins or loses. He just wants a low payroll team. But still, this is getting to the point that something will have to be done. I don't think I've ever seen a White Sox team that is so bad offensively. Montgomery and Quero have really been a disappointment.
  30. Losing is a disease, and the Sox are anti-vaxxers.
  31. Doubt this is the one but pretty funny
  32. I think the Sox need a DH, preferably a RHed DH that can hit 20-30 HR.. What to do, what to do ?
  33. McGuire being awful was to be expected but Quero has taken a massive step back so far this season. With Quero there is at least hope he can return to at least last seasons's level but McGuire is just filling a space until Teel return, hopefully not rushed causing recurrent injuries, as this season is a bust no matter when Teel returns.
  34. All we are saying Is give The Chairman of the Board a chance
  35. We might finally need to bring back TA to catch.
  36. 1 point
I'd be fine with that outcome
  37. Man, number 42 for the Sox is a bum
  38. At this point let Acuna get 400+ at bats and see what he is OR what is not. It really doesn't matter because he is not holding anyone else back from the minors. As of now he looks to be nothing but let it play out........You have nothing else to do because you aren't winning crap.
  39. If you won’t allow yourself to get excited about Schultz because of those reasons, I truly don’t understand the point of following the Sox at all right now.
