Ventura was a terrible move and at the time Guillen was a head scratcher. History is not kind to Jerry Reinsdorf hirings especially in the last 15 years. I include the Bulls. He's great on the the pre and post. Let him stay there, because who knows what all that attention would do to him. Plus the baggage of Oney. Anyone who is on camera under the same employer trying to take a job from someone else in the organization hasn't matured at all. He is not at all trustworthy as an employee. He is just as likely to burn the Sox to the ground as he is to have any kind of success with them. Why? We have already seen him do both to the Sox. Didn't half the drama start because the Sox didn't draft Ozney in the higher rounds of the 2010 draft (he went in the 22nd round). He never even made it to MiLB. Only flamed out in Indy ball.
