ROSTER MOVES: Prior to the start of this morning's game at Gwinnett, the Charlotte Knights have made the following roster moves:

Oh Slater is back in action just when I thought he might be gone for the year with that meniscus tear.

I thought a resurgent Brooks Baldwin could have made for an awkward choice when Slater comes off the IL. I'm not thinking that so much right now.

Yeah I assume Palacios and him go down when Tauchman/Slater come back. Hopefully Baldwin back up for the back half improved.

That's only with a repair. A menisectomy is 3-6 weeks.

Since they are playing the Reds, this may be appropriate here, supposedly, Shoeless Joe and Charlie Hustle are now both eligible for the HOF.

Terrible decision but par for the course with Manfred.

Baldwin has been in a hitting slump but, at least LH, he can be a useful power bat that can play infield and outfield. He also has speed on the bases and can pinch run for some of the slower players. Baldwin has misjudged a few deep flyballs (consider that he has been more of an infielder) but I'd rather have him in the outfield than Rojas who is going to be a butcher out there.

I'm not saying Rojas is going to be a master in the outfield but are you sure about that last statement? Right now Baldwin is a below average player at the plate and defensively.

Would guess roughly 830-900 EST start based on all the local weather forecasts.

Reds' fans saying one hour.

Salty about Rose reinstatement and beating perennial doormat teams but not Cards Brewers or Cubs lol.

Also mad at McLain and Ch.Encarnacion-Strand for sucking.
