I figured a 6-1 deficit on Italian night at "Rate Field" in a downpour was the same vibe.

That was not a fun game to be at.

I like this move. 27, lefty, perhaps a true talent uptick this year. I can't stress enough how important it is to keep looking for LHB. We've seen what even a solid lefty bat can do in Tauchman.

That's all the Sox look at. The ability to hit a baseball..............well........nevermind

only if he were a pitcher....ran out of corks to patch up the Titanic so lets try bubblegum

sad how we are suffering from the habitual losing syndrome.  We get giddy over a DFA.

These are the moves that Rick Hahn and Kenny failed to try, why not take a chance on a dude who has had 10 MLB ABs to see what he can do. He’s got pop he, he could stink or he could turn into a late bloomer like a Brent Rooker or Christian Walker. He’ll have plenty of opportunities to play

His nickname is “Danger”, isn’t it

But for those who don't know it's referencing the old 1960 ' s Lost in Space TV program, 1998 movie or 2018 Netflix TV series . The Robinson family Robot would warn of impending danger by repeating "Danger Will Robinson Danger" to the son in the Robinson family. I don't ever recall him saying "Danger Penny or Judy Robinson to his 2  older sisters. Penny Robinson was  played by Angela Cartwright who played Brigitta Von Trapp in the Sound of Music and also played the daughter of entertainer Danny Thomas in a longer running  TV Show than Lost In Space 3 seasons called The Danny Thomas Show. He was actually a popular entertainer at the time and became well known for starting the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and hosting Telethons to raise money for the Hospitals and pediatric cancer research. He was the real life father of actress Marlo Thomas the star of the hit ABC show That Girl. Marlo Thomas  married famous  Chicago Talk Show host Phil Donahue. She continued her father's philanthropic work in pediatric cancer.

Danny and Danny Kaye almost bought the White Sox as well. Danny Thomas would go on to become one of the first owners of the Miami Dolphins.

When I was a kid , I was flying to see my best bud who had moved to Denver. His dad was a pilot, so I made 5 or 6 of these trips on stand by, and always wound up in first class. Once, I sat with Marlo Thomas when she was dating Phil Donahue and he had his show in Chicago. Phil was actually  sitting in my seat when I boarded, talking with her.The rules were a bit more lax back then and  i guess if you were famous they even let you on the plane to say goodbye. She was really sweet to me. She had 7 different types of apples she had me sampling.

Hopefully this is a euphemism.

She reminded me of my mother's younger sisters and my mother watched that show all the time , That Girl and The Mary Tyler Moore Show from the mid  60s to the mid 70s.

Will Robertson is gonna be a real rough one on this year’s Sporcle quiz.

I’ll remember him. Robertson is the 1000th White Sox player in my lifetime. That’s quite an honor…for him.

Robertson feels like the 2025 version of DeLoach. Low-risk, dice roll on a potential solid 4th-ish OF type/depth piece. Likely a DFA guy at the end of the year, but the Sox don't have many options for 2026 and are going to need replacements for Robert, Taylor, Slater and Tauchman. He certainly wasn't impressive when I saw him the last home series.

I haven’t seen him play, but he’s not a bad guy to an opportunity post deadline and see what you have based on his AAA numbers alone and the fact he has some legit raw power.  Would rather give him a shot than Fletcher or DeLoach.
