Sorry for the pettiness in bumping this, but this thread was always ridiculous and it's nice to see Grandal finally getting his due from some of the naysayers: Grandal: .400 OBP, .833 OPS, 143 wRC+, 1.4 fWAR McCann: .291 OBP, .658 OPS, 88 wRC+, 0.1 fWAR4 points

I recently went on a ballpark trip. Started with the Sox, then to Minneapolis, St Louis and Cincinatti. One thing that I noticed at the end of it all...none of the other parks had the brilliant, pungent grilled onion smell just ruminating throughout the ballpark. I wonder if that smell is one of a kind with the Sox Park. One of my favorite combinations of smells at home is sauteed peppers and onions, and I really think it's because it reminds me of being a kid again going to Sox games. It also tastes amazing.2 points

He held Boston to two runs and struck out 6. The only other good teams he's faced were the Yankees and Cleveland and yeah, those weren't pretty. But because he slaughtered middling-to-bad teams, you're holding that against him? If he were on the Padres, you'd be making an entire thread about him.2 points
