  1. Stud? good lord. I get it, winning streaks make the miserable megaposters desperate but this is a stretch even for that. A "stud" is the Rays trading away Joe Ryan last year. Imagine the outrage if Hahn would have done that lol
  2. Nope but my wife and I are putting an offer on our first house today so I hope we have as much success with that as I am with these gamethreads hahaha
  3. 14-13 after 1/6 of the season. With all those injuries. Uh, yeah, enjoy it Twins. It’s not going to last much longer.
  4. The White Sox have the 3rd smallest pool for the 2022 Draft. It didn't have to be this way. I wrote about why it could've been different and offered up some first round possibilities here: https://soxmachine.com/general/white-soxs-paltry-mlb-draft-bonus-pool-a-result-of-unsound-priorities/
  5. This is a game that exemplifies why managers really don't matter as much in the MLB. Everything before the game, keuchal, lineup and defense looked like it would be a giveaway game. Have all the wrong moves and sometimes they win. Do all the right ones and sometimes you lose.
  6. Those who live in the past suffer depression . Those who live in the future suffer anxiety Only those who live in the present can truly be happy.
  7. Can't vouch for that as I don't remember it but 2 wrongs don't make a right. Everyone should be disciplined for flipping off the fans.
  8. Giving something of quality for Lance Lynn is one thing, for ~2 months of Cesar Hernandez is certainly quite another.
  9. Yes, he's done well in 8 MLB innings. Clearly he's going to have a long career as an elite closer. I hear they're building him his own wing in Cooperstown.
  10. This is a result of our offense sucking. Every game is high leverage when you only score 3 or 4 runs.
  11. Now that they are one over .500, time to re-focus on those division games the rest of the season. Sox definitely have looked horrible vs. teams they play the most. ... As far as today, love it. Tony coulda got reamed and would have had the Sox lost: Sunday lineup, no TA, pitching decisions. But Sox won and he looks good and the team looks good still with some key players hurt. Jose Abreu was a factor in some of these road wins, baby. Liam was awesome on the road trip. Tim was excellent. Others too. Just.Win.Baby and give Tony some credit where it's due if u are a hater.
  12. 3 points
Another day, another hit for Yolbert.
  13. Plus he is a RH 1B and they can easily be replaced.
  14. very proud of Benetti and Stone for how professional they were. Such a good duo, they deserve all the praise.
  15. If TA wasn’t going to play today, why not just take that 1 game suspension today?
  16. Great camera work NBC!
  17. Ray Ray is a rat that scurried onto the Ruiz bandwagon when he started to pitch well. I've been team Ruiz from the start.
  18. RIP Scooter game threads
  19. If Kuechel gets annihilated to the point of losing his spot in the rotation, I'm still counting it as the 6th win in a row.
  20. And there is a sweep! 6 in a row! Back over .500! Life is good as a Sox fan right now.
  21. Apparently we can just send anybody out there in any inning and it works.
  22. TLR is a genius I guess.
  23. Amazing managing. You can’t beat a lefty lefty matchup. Checkmate.
  24. 27 career minor league saves!
  25. Sweet Caroline sucks
  26. Why the #$%@! would you says this before the game is over. You're to blame if they lose. ?
  27. Mendick's arm at SS makes every play look way closer than it should.
  28. 6 innings, 2 runs. You'd think he just gave up 10 runs, with some of these posts.
  29. We shouldn't have wasted all those opportunities to score more add on runs.
  30. Hoping he doesn’t need much. He’s destroying the ball in AAA and was down a decent while
  31. Yoan back tommorow per kasper on the radio feed
  32. Great outing for Keufax.
  33. 5 is all we needed from DK. Time to go to the pen.
  34. Man I can’t imagine how embarrassed I would be to not score any runs on Dallas Keuchel lmao
  35. My Dinner with Verdugo: The Film
  36. Again, broadcasters were bad. Production and everything around was good.
  37. Too much concentration on TLR and keuchal that no one noticed the awesome strike em out throw em out double play?
  38. Giving Anderson a rest is fine but no reason to bat Leury lead off when Robert is also playing
  39. The Sheets Stans from this offseason have been awfully quiet.
  40. Sheets has no business being on this roster. Send him to AAA and tell him to work on hitting breaking pitches better.
  41. Everything about Jake Burger is likeable
  42. It's hilarious that people think we need to keep Keuchel around for "depth."
  43. Leury Garcia is absolute trash.
  44. So Monday not Tuesday?
  45. Lol I had not noticed @ScooterMcGuires name change until now
  46. Hopefully this is Kuechels last start.
  47. Games are won in three places: on the field, on the practice field, and on the message boards. Right now, you're carrying your water and then some -- keep up the good work.
  48. To be fair, this team has a handful of players that truly do suck. No one is saying Anderson or Robert or Cease suck. Keuchel, Pollock and Harrison suck
  49. It's cute that you think we'll need Liam in a game started by Dallas Keuchel.
