The wave? Fire the fans too.4 points

We all have to now start rooting for this season to go so bad and for things to get so toxic that there will be no choice but for TLR and this whole incompetent coaching staff to resign or be fired.4 points
-
Didn’t put in a single vote for him to be an all star. Shit like today is why.4 points

So why is it Abreu at 35 can play everyday even though you know he is hurting, but the young guys need multiple days off a week? Maybe that is a clue as to one of the many things wrong with this team.4 points

"It" is the key word here. "It" is everything. None of what we are watching matters, because with this current structure in place, they aren't achieving anything that is going to get us excited as fans. This is who they are. Aside from falling ass backwards in 2005, they've proven time and time again that they are light years behind the elite teams in MLB. Year after year, season after season.....the joke is on us for still hanging around. We're the assholes.3 points

I’ve been to 2 games this year. Both free. Last year I spent thousands taking my family to about 14 or 15 games. Spent good money on great 100 level seats between 1st and 3rd, parking, food at the game etc. I will not return until TLR AND HAHN are both gone. 3rd or 4th Highest payroll in the American League and this is what we get?3 points

The most unlikeable White Sox team in my lifetime. I'm 64.3 points

I would fire Hahn even before Tony for spending more money on this piece of shit bullpen instead of investing in a good right fielder and second baseman.3 points

This is still jarring to read in print.3 points

I don't believe that. IF that was the case, why doesn't he allow the baseball people in charge make the baseball decisions? Like I dunno....hiring and firing the manager.3 points

Interesting trade candidate for the Sox to consider if they want to bolster the starting staff without selling the farm.3 points

It seems like JR has disappeared from the scene. He doesn't give interviews anymore. He was the one who hired TLR. I can't help but wonder what JR thinks of this present team. Assuming he has been watching these games, he has to be upset. I can't help but wonder what if anything is going to be done. I find it hard to believe that nothing is going to be done to correct this situation. The team not only has a losing record, the team is dull.2 points

We gotta stop these threads. It isn't happening. I just don't see many scenarios where Rick Hahn is selling off major pieces at the deadline.2 points
-
I would only trust that if you flipped front offices with CLE, TB, MIL, HOU, LAD, ATL, SFG or MIN. Letting Hahn do it again is insane.2 points

Fire the god damned manager already. When is enough enough?2 points

You listen on everyone and see who blows you away. Though the best thing you can do to increase play values is to Fire Tony.2 points

He traded Sale, Quintana and Eaton for Kopech, Cease, Giolito, Lopez, Dunning, Moncada and Eloy. That's three current starters, a good reliever, and another guy who got traded for one of our starters. It's not Hahn's fault that the coaching staff totally fucked up Moncada and Eloy. Those were fantastic trades.2 points

Sheets isn't good but dammit at least he cares.2 points

I truly believe that TLR is the root of all the rot here. As flawed as this roster is, it is a group of talented players who should be doing better than they are. As much as Ricky’s decisions bugged me, this was a fun squad to watch back then. Now? Bunch of corpses taking their managers lead.2 points

This organization doesn't develop players. It looks like they ruin players.2 points

Hey they came out fired up after the 4 run top of the inning. Game ended with the all star's two lazy base running plays.2 points

Anyone else stuck on how they root for this team? I want them to win but I want TLR and the entire FO gone.2 points

The dreaded sore legs. Honestly Tony thinking this team has the time to worry about guys being 110% to play is probably part of the reason they are so sleeepy2 points

It's tough, but the Sox did what every other team would have done. Sorry Ryan, it's a cold business,, especially for fringe guys. Injured fringe guys.2 points

Thats what really pisses me off. Every one of his "I'm smarter than you" don't make the obvious move moves, blow up in his face. At some point, it's time for the higher ups to call a clown is a clown. It's not only the fans that deserve better, it's the players as well.2 points
-
No, you can't, and the state of denial will continue. The FO can lash out at fans, but the team is under .500 at the season's mid-point, and there is no denying that. No, no one tells JR what to do no matter how many stupid things he does.2 points

if anyone would be surprised would be remarkable. They had one good half season (fueled by scrubs) in the last handful of years. And some people crowned their ass. This is what they are.2 points

The killer for me is it makes no difference what the results are this year. Jerry is bringing this stiff and his cronies back next season. The thud you're hearing is our championship window slamming shut. You don't leave a failed GM in place to guide your rebuild. You don't hire a dinosaur that is completely out of touch with 21st century baseball to run your team. And you sure as hell don't double down on all of it by being an absentee owner who's actions (or inactions) tell his customers he cares more about $12 beers than winning for this city. Two years ago we could have hired any manager or Executive we wanted. EVERYONE wanted to jump on the bandwagon. In two years you won't be able to get the Skipper of the SS Minnow to run this farce. I'm out.2 points

I believe you in that it was bad. Didn't watch it. I wouldn't say he choked though. To choke would imply he was all scared and/or inable to get up for the moment cause of jitters. He's been through it before. He didn't choke. Now maybe he stunk or failed miserably but he did not choke there. That's the wrong word IMO.2 points

Has Jerry ever really cared about winning? He cares about making money and employing his loved ones much more. He'd rather lose than fire his good buddy TLR.2 points
