  1. Unfuckingbelievable. These kids do not know any better and I love watching it
  2. Will be in attendance for this one, our tickets are behind home plate. Would love nothing more than to celebrate a sweep and watch all these loser Astros fans sulk home.
  3. We are the team of destiny. With our pitching and offense playing better, we are the better team. We can beat up on the Guardians.
  4. Mune felt like the first player in forever to pick the white Sox. That love affair will never end. He fucking rules, no matter what happens.
  5. I was a junior in college and my long term GF broke up with me a week after the World Series was over. Hope my wife doesn’t leave me now!
  6. In hindsight it wasn't so bad losing the division and getting the Wild Card series. It got the Sox engines revved up and gave them confidence.
  7. Nice call by Tom McCarthy. It certainly tops Chris Berman's "The Red Sox dream is over" call at the end of the 2005 ALDS.
  8. I just can’t believe this year happened. Especially after the first series - where I was resigned to the fact that baseball just didn’t exist on the southside. Then the most enjoyable season, just pure joy. I think, looking back, that 2020-21 core was too handsome. Those guys don’t give a f*** about winning. They are hot. You need some Feddes, some meidroths.
  9. Special shoutout to Kay getting Yordan and Altuve to strand the bases loaded in the 5th The game really could have gone off the rails in that inning if he didn't shut it down, and it set up Chase's big momentum swing in the next frame too That top 6 also showed some incredible managing by Will with the runners
  10. There were a TON of White Sox fans here. They all gathered in front of the 3rd base dugout after the game was over and gave the team a massive ovation.
  11. I love this team. Such a stark difference from those 2020/2021 guys.
  12. Will do, keep an eye out for me. Im a 42 year old white male, will be wearing a baseball hat.
  13. I'm glad he challenged it. You get two in the post season and you can always ask the crew chief for one late in the game. Challenging Altuve was classic gamesmanship. He ALWAYS cheats on the grass to get a better angle as he's slowed down over the years. The final view showed his heel was on the grass as the pitcher started his motion. NY just botched the call. That said, now the cheater of all cheaters knows he's being watched and maybe doesn't get a good angle on a ball tomorrow that impacts the game.
  14. Why block him? He's a troll sometimes sure, but still a Sox die hard like the rest of us. I think of this forum as a giant dysfunctional family. There are a ton of characters, and there will always be fireworks at Thanksgiving but we all have 1 common love in the Sox.
  15. White Sox fans in attendance tonight would be smart to boo Sousa if he gets an opportunity to pitch, because if they boo loud enough he will think it's Astros fans and will probably mess him up mentally lol
  16. The Sox have been in so few playoff series its easy to recall every game.
  17. Perfect. Fall apart, Astros.
  18. Would have been a crazy environment at the Rate even with the start time.
  19. Hunter Brown lifetime 6-0 2.39 era vs Sox in regular season. Hunter Brown lifetime 0-1 40.50 era vs Sox in playoffs.
  20. Going back to the regular season the Sox have now won nine of their last 12. Maybe be getting hot at the right time.
  21. This series is the first time I really thought Teel has a shot to be a star. For a catcher, he moves extremely well and it shows in his receiving too. Our pitchers had confidence to throw it in the dirt and Houston's paid a price. 5/5 on challenges too, just dominated in all facets. Also, kudos to the training staff and decision making there, they have him peaking after the unfortunate injuries. paging @ptatc
  22. I was 42. My wife was out of town, we already had 2 cats (Mewless Lemeiux and Squeeky Fromme), but I took in a street cat. They all retreated to their own corners and were hissing at each other. Konerko hit the grand slam, I jumped up and yelled, and I didn't see a cat for a couple of days. We named the new guy Mr. October.
  23. Devil Magic Guardians are no match for God's team. Sox in 3.
  24. This is one of the greatest stories in sports history, especially if we somehow make the ALCS. ... 100 loss teams, what was it three years in a row? General manager comes in from the lowly Royals. Strikes out a bit on pitching (which is not as important in this era of 4-5 inning max starters). And he brings in some grinders who love baseball and it shows, Murikami from Japan in a master stroke, good catchers, and a slugger at 3B. No matter what happens Getz deserves genius status and our manager obviously works well with the front office and must be great with players. No drama, just a young and dumb team that embarrassed the Astros. Good job White Sox. I contend u just might be a team of destiny. Reinsdorf should be ecstatic after those 100 loss seasons. Bring back Hawk to do the rest of the postseason games, baby.
  25. I love how Chase KNEW he got all of that shot
  26. Feels so much different now then in 2005. Enjoy it younger fans. You blink and 21 years will pass. And enjoy it older fans of course, we've seen the lean times and earned this success. I thought Sam and Teel really set the tone all series. Some really clutch defense by the entire IF. Pitching did enough. Bats did enough. Meidroth has turned into a dude. Get Mune and Vargas some rest and lets beat the Tribe!
  27. Cleveland is going down next
  28. Will has managed this series masterfully. You can tell he had a great teacher in Bochy, the best to ever do it in the postseason IMO.
  29. 6 outs and then we push Cleveland's s%*# in.
  30. Love having yordon lead off the inning.
  31. Vasil just humped Chase. "Roommates".
  32. The Sox can do something tonight they've only done one other year since 1918 - win a series in the postseason!
  33. I can still give you a nice recap of every game of the 1959 World Series.
  34. Yesterday was tense at times, but it felt like we were in control for the entire game. Never felt like the Astros were really going to tie it up or take the lead. I'm feeling confident we can end this tonight.
  35. Screw them and their fans. Cheaters.
  36. His quote about having no wife/girlfirend/family has me fired up. What a lunatic.
