I can't for the life of me figure out how a Sox fan could be so upset after a win. What a miserable way to be a fan.8 points

This is 1 of the worst posts I’ve seen on an internet message board in my life. You should be ashamed of yourself for that distinction5 points

If we put the Keuchel, Grandal, Bummer and Jimenez contracts on waivers, wonder how many takers there would be to assume or absorb 100% the responsibility for those current deals? Jimenez for sure, because they could buy out of the last two years of options at $6 million. Even Moncada and Robert are not exactly "sure things." It has taken Buxton, for example, the better part of 5-6 seasons to put together an MVP quality start to a season.5 points

What? His bullpen moves all worked out. Not TLR's fault most of the lineup is hitting .200.4 points

Oh boy, Madrigal as a pinch runner? I'd rather just let Yermin run.4 points

doubling down; might have to go to the judges for an end of night ruling now. you may have taken the lead!4 points

Sox obviously are horseshit but otoh it sure is a pleasure to listen to the best tandem in the booth that the Sox could make in Kasper and Stone. I'd love it if it continued like this. Not only do I no have to listen to Bennettis stupid bullshit all game but hey Steve Stone is a complete 100% baseball analyst again. Man Bennetti can GTFO / go pound sand with Boog for the Cubs and I'd be thrilled with Kasper and Stone on TV.4 points

The one thing I was confident in Larussa (despite my anger for his hire) was that he'd likely produce good lineups with all his experience... I have since decided that he has no clue what the fuck he is doing.4 points

We are going to be one helluva force to be reckoned with once everything comes together and clicks, which it will.3 points

Huge game from the bullpen! 4 IP, 7 K, 1 BB, 2 H, 0 R. This unit will be deadly as fuck once they all start clicking.3 points

not a bad win when you start the worst pitcher in baseball, and 90% of your lineup wouldn't be claimed off waivers for free!3 points

The close up of the dugout honestly looked like a horror movie. I was worried that some of our boys were gonna join Eloy up in heaven.3 points

We really showed the league we mean business by not playing the service manipulation game with Vaughn so that we could get 14 ABs and bench him after every out. Gonna look back in October and pat ourselves on the back for that one.3 points

So for tonight, the claim that a pitcher "shit himself out on the mound" might be literal instead of metaphorical.3 points

Hell no. 2021 is not another "developmental" year. This is year 5 of the rebuild. The rebuildniks and Sox Front Office do not get to kick the can down the road another year. Go look at where the Cubs were at year 5 of their rebuild. It is put up or shut up time on the South Side.3 points

My wife got an appointment on Friday for today at Mariano's....funny thing, I do the grocery shopping for our family. As I was leaving today I handed her a list of items to get while she waits the 15minutes after the shot.3 points

My youngest two (16 and 18) are scheduled for their first shots this week. There's a Facebook page a guy created that was all about supporting local restaurants when COVID started, and it has morphed into a restaurant/bar appreciation page. The moderator has also been posting links to open vaccine appointments, and that was how we were able to snag appointments so easily. By easily I mean going to the page immediately and securing an appointment as soon as possible. It took about 2 or 3 tries for each, but once you reserve a spot, you have 5 minutes to fill out the info and confirm. Both of my younger kids work with the public (Walmart and TCBY), so I'll feel a lot better once they're fully vaccinated.3 points

I'm giving away my age here, but that win did really feel 1983-ish. I was a young child for that year. I would to see Winning ugly return!2 points

The Sox lead major league baseball in walk rate. No idea how they're a feast or famine offense. Javy Baez has a career walk rate that is one of the lowest in baseball history 4.7% while also striking out nearly 29% of the time. Luis Robert has a walk rate near 10% this year and 9% on his young career despite periods of struggling. He also has reduced his k rate already (BB/K numbers become predictable pretty quickly by 6% vs last year. Your entire post is complete nonsense.2 points

Honestly, the manager hire really was a critical blow for this team, or at least a lot of the fandom. Every negative thing that occurs on this team is going to be connected to the manager and put a sour taste in my (the fans) mouth... Rough!2 points

Got my first shot of Moderna on Friday, was perfectly fine, then about 12 hours later started feeling wiped out, Saturday was basically a write-off, I was zapped of energy. No fever or other symptoms, just exhausted. I did have a mild case of COVID in November, so they do say first shot acts like a booster and side effects will happen. However, Sunday morning I was 100% so I'm very happy I got it and one step closer to seeing some people I haven't seen in a year!2 points

I just don’t see how you can come up with a compelling argument on Nick Williams helps you win a ballgame more than Andrew Vaughn at this point, defense be damned2 points

Greg, I say this genuinely: I'm really, really happy that you got your first shot. My neighbor was skeptical of getting a vaccine - she's 59, got trust issues with the government and medical companies, etc. But she's tired of having to test every two weeks for work, her family coming over uninvited (her mom lives with her), and all that. Her employer was organizing vaccinations, but with J&J. She didn't feel comfortable with that, so they're working on getting her Pfizer. It did help her fears in general after she talked to my fiancee and I - I got Pfizer, fiancee got Moderna (second shot in a few weeks), and our roommate got J&J. None of us had side effects. The important thing is that you get one of them and are safe.2 points
