They know they won't be fired. Its their way of showing fake accountability. If they really felt as much responsibility as they claim, they would have resigned citing incompetence. Telling JR, if you aren't going to fire us, we will fire ourselves. Hahn saying he needs to "continue to earn" when the f*** did he ever earn it? 2 winning seasons in 11 years, and 1 was a 60 game season fans couldn't even attend. Think about it, he has been the GM 11 seasons and only 1 of those seasons could you buy tickets to go see a good team, and really that was only the first half before they became mediocre again. I doubt there is a GM with a tenure that long that has ever been as consistently bad. The excuses are ridiculous. Players are learning a system? This isn't football. If the system is chase less, why are they almost all chasing more? How in the world could that be part of the process, and if it was, why did they not prepare to be historically bad for a while? The team is just bad. They have failed at their jobs. KW and Hahn need to go away. Take Getz with you. There has to be someone they could hire to run the minor leagues who can develop players enough so when they are called up they don't look like they just started playing baseball last week. We look at the product on the field and see total failure. We don't even mention they can't even call anyone up. Their minor league system is so bad and so injured, there is no one to even call up when guys hit .120 and play poor defense. JR used to say the White Sox were a public trust. Basically the fans were the real owners. If that was how he really felt, he would try to do something to fix this moving forward. But crickets. He is nothing but a bullshitter. If I wasn't so invested, and so sad and angry, if this was the Cubs, I'd be laughing my ass off at this organization daily. The organization from top to bottom is a joke. Sell the team Jerry.9 points

Good post. No Sympathy from me either. He could have saved face when Jerry imposed Tony on you and resigned In protest. I could have respected him for that. But like a little b**** he took it. Now f*** off incompetent fool7 points

My position, which I have stated before, is everyone must go. Reinsdorf, KW, Hahn, Getz, the entire scouting department, the 3 guys who do "analytics," the manager, the coaches, all of the players. Scrape the thing down to the ground and start over. That will take 3-5 years just to be in position to think about competing, but this organization is rotten to the core. Of course, Hahn should lose his job, but replacing him alone would do nothing.6 points

Funny thing is, the usual more optimistic posters here who haven't seemed to post here in over a week probably claim the fan base, Soxtalk included, is being too insufferable and overexaggerating. This team is insufferable to watch. I really hope their heads aren't buried that far in the sand where they believe we still have a chance. Edit: it's one thing if they were playing good ball and just getting beat, but it's not the case. Just awful effort every night.4 points

Quicker the Sox get rid of the likes of Robert Eloy and moncada s%*# will look up. Terrible terrible attitudes. Zero baseball sense. Robert has no Fucking desire. Just f*** them4 points

Imagine complaining that young, in their prime athletes, aren't getting enough rest days, in baseball. Remember the days when guys would play pretty much EVERY SINGLE GAME? Including double headers? What the hell are we talking about here? If anything, they've had too many off days in the past. Baseball isn't like other sports where you need major recovery time. They should be completely fine playing pretty much every day.4 points

You believe White Sox Dave believes the person who sent it to him. Why do you believe Mike Panozzo? I believe you. So if you believe Dave, I guess we're all believing Mike Panozzo. And if someone believes me, they believe you, Dave, and Mike Panozzo.4 points

Time has arrived for Hahn, Kenny and or Grifol to resign or be fired. Hahn accepted responsibility a couple of days ago for the poor start, so he should follow with a resignation. Something needs to be done now.3 points

Of course you do, you have a lot of strident contrarian opinions. Healthy 25 year old on pace to play 156 games, something that's been done literally tens of thousands of times in MLB and you're all "nah, he needs more rest".3 points

More flotsam and jetsam. More dumpster diving. Hint: There's a reason why these guys are available. It's because they aren't very good for various reasons. Naturally they find a home with the Sox because the minor league system is an embarrassment.3 points

Way things are looking, I'll be able to get a Sox dugout side ticket rows 5-10 or so for about 40-50 bucks when they come to Seattle. The Mariners look disappointing as well. I'll boo the s%*# out of the Sox: money well spent.3 points

Hell the As don’t deserve money either, their fans will be happier if you find ways to go without paying the team.3 points

Quite frankly many articles over the years did criticize sox fans as overly negative (Sox were picked to be world series winners last year! What are you complaining about) and anyway we were right, every offseason with the exception of 2017 was a disaster for hahn.3 points

I get where the Sox make their money. My point is not about the money...it's about the fandom and support of fans. If ideally the fans don't show up and every night possibly the team plays in front of a very empty stadium, then that is an embarrassing look. Whether they still make money is irrelevant. They can make all the millions they want. What is important is the fact it's a huge embarrassment that his your fans don't have any interest in going to the games. You cannot tell me that in some form that wouldn't be embarrassing to Jerry. Jerry and the FO need to be as brutally embarrassed as possible to the rest of baseball America while they make their millions. The fact is Jerry has always been arrogant and has a massive ego. If an empty stadium wouldn't bother or embarrass him, then he really is suffering from senility and serious cognitive brain loss.3 points

I am no longer angry with how this season is going, it is what it is. What I am angry about is that no one is being held accountable for it, and chances are no one will. Changes have to be made, not on the field, in the front office. This team has collapsed since the second half of 2021 and not a damn thing has been done about it. This is where my anger and frustration is, at a minimum Rick Hahn needs to be fired like yesterday. It is completely unacceptable for a professional organization to allow this level of failure with no consequences. All it has done is send the message to the fans "We don't give a f*** about you." Well, f*** you too White Sox.3 points

In a very sick way I'm kind of rooting for them to lose out the rest of the month and have it dip into the Twins series. I want to see how long they'll just let losses pile up before making some sort of change, like what is their breaking point?3 points
