He's been awful offensively, awful defensively, and the Sox pitching is bottom 5 in the league in pretty much every category. Tough to discern what exactly he is accomplishing. If he's such a great guy to have around, make him a coach. That said, Sox don't really have anyone else to plug in until Stassi returns from injury (and his 60 days are up end of month), so best case scenario we still have a few weeks of watching him look helpless.

I know Colas hasn’t been good and I know the org is not a fan, but the obvious answer to an AV demotion (which prob won’t happen) is Sheets to 1B and Colas to RF.

DeLoach has been in the 600s for OPS (in Charlotte!) with little power recently...has something changed? He profiles as average to below average defensively so I guess that should fit right in.

I think there is zero chance that Fedde is here post trade deadline. He should probably be traded for a bat given how many holes we have currently. From my perspective, your 2025 rotation should be Crochet, three kids, and some sort of cheap vet in FA. The rest of our money needs to go to the offense.

I was certain they were a 120 loss team a couple weeks ago. I no longer see that as a certainty. I’m thinking ~110 now. Still terrible but not record setting. And we’re seeing some positive signs from young guys like Leasure and Ramos, which is really nice to see.
