By the time they’re competing again he will be making 30 million a year.  He’s been great this year but his best value to the team in the future might be as a trade chip.

Truth.

Eaton was fine the first time.  Pods lol?

That wasn't hyperbole it was the truth. Naming a single guy in a 100+ years of Sox history doesn't change the fact. Baines might be the only left handed hitter HOFer in their history to have started his career with the Sox.

Not embarrassing….expected is more like it. TLR should have never been hired to begin with

Ventura shouldn’t have been hired either. The Sox could have hired Tito.

It is possible that Cleveland is just better than the White Sox. They seem to be proving it this season.

I was thinking of something similar today. I think Cleveland may also be better than Minnesota this year too.

People pay money to see this team, they can say what they want. Especially when you run a shit product out there every single day

Most classless thing this organization has done is make the fan base root for a team managed by Tony.

Imagine watching this pathetic, embarrassing, underachieving, sorry excuse for a baseball team, and thinking booing and fire Tony chants are classless. Are you fucking kidding me?

Should be banned from soxtalk with all honesty

Spending 30M on an in their prime ace makes a lot more sense than paying 20M for someone in their mid 30s like Lynn. The Sox reluctance to ever pay top of the market players is part of why their teams are constantly stuck in mediocrity.

Pretty classless. Doesn't matter if it's true.

Don't understand this. Players salaries dwarf today's workers. Anyone who pays to go to a baseball game is shelling out big money. Fans has a right to express their disappointment in an organization that has continuously showed it's disdain for their fans. Fans are just showing their disdain in return. Good organizations with  good GM's have gotten a World Series victory out of rebuilds. Hahn talked about multiple championships and sustained success.

Our owner and GM gives us a .500 team.
