The reality is the playoffs have already started for the Sox. They have to play and manage all 9 of these just like that is the case. And if they do make the playoffs having to play with that pressure to just get there will definitely help them.

Who would Braden replace for defense? Grichuk, Doyle and Peters are all as good if not better than him defensively.

I don't know but in my opinion Grichuk has earned as much playing time as anyone. Same with Peters. They are both the type of players I want on the field at crunch time. I trust them way more than B. Montgomery right now. Doyle you use in certain situations. He is very good defensively and he can run.

How about a stress free 8-1 victory where we can just sit back, relax and scoreboard watch!

True I guess they wouldn’t really need to but I was thinking Grichuk but he seems fine out in LF
