This is the culture the White Sox have built. I don't blame Robert even half as much as I blame this dogshit organization. Imagine a player, YOUR STAR PLAYER, having so little interaction with the SECOND IN COMMAND, that he doesn't even know his fucking name? How is that even possible on a professional sports team?? The fact that he didn't tell the coaches about his hamstring tells me everything I need to know. There is ZERO TRUST between players and management/coaching. And management is fucking clueless. Asleep at the wheel. You just bench the guy, without even having a conversation with him, to see if he's feeling OK??? I have more rapport and connection with the HIGH SCHOOL KIDS I coach. The White Sox are a fucking disgrace.8 points

Rays TV broadcasters just showed the replay and called out Eloy for lack of effort jogging down the line, while also saying, 'the obvious lack of team effort we've watched this weekend is a big reason why this team is 7-21' ... Amazing what a league joke this franchise has become7 points

My wife could have caught that fly ball, I’m going to continue to watch just to see if I continue to see things I’ve never seen before.6 points

With all do respect, I don’t. At this point, the best outcome there is for the team is for Hahn’s entire operation to go completely down in flames in historic fashion. Reinsdorf will only respond to losing real value, and this is the only way to exact that. It’s clear Hahn and co. cant win. If Reinsdorf won’t sell the best outcome is for whatever next yes man to get lucky. Hahn is neither lucky or good.6 points

Luckily, Luis dogged it on Saturday so the man Adam Haseley could lead us to the promised land.5 points

Do you really think MLB and thr AL would abandon Chicago all because Jerry Reinsdorf ran his team like a Subway Franchise? It's a sleeping giant.5 points

He’d 100% be a star anywhere else IMO. No doubt in my mind his lack of maturity and underachievement is a symptom of an organization that is rotten to the core.5 points

This team is out of control. Its the modern day Hindenburg. Too little, too late.5 points

If we’ve learned one thing over the last 7 years, it’s that making negative threads about Abreu definitely paints a TOTALLY ACCURATE picture of how he will perform from that point forward!4 points

It was a fun win. But bad relief pitching, horrible defense…really there is no hope for much of a turnaround for this team.4 points

Don't get so down. They could easily start another double-digit losing streak on Tuesday. ?4 points

What this tells me is that that they are being so conservative with injury concerns this year based on recent history that the players aren't telling them what's really going on. It's a tough call as the players have had so many significant injuries, I'm not sure I would trust them "to know their own bodies" either.4 points
-
No, you just need to chime in to make sure no one attacks the coaches for the fact that the players aren’t interacting with their coaches. Obviously the coaches play no role in the coaching staff. Heard it all before. It’s one part of how we got here. Always the excuses for the lack of leadership.4 points

Robert like so, so many of the Sox players is simply "baseball-stupid." Period.4 points

My observation...Rays think Sox are a joke and so they kept that a pitcher in the game who was clearly struggling and Sox only score 1. The Rays are confident they'll score and Win.3 points

Gotta win one against TB this year. Need momentum against them when we meet in the playoffs.3 points

Agreed. The Dash lineup is actually a very fun watch. Chappy, Gladney, Tatum, and Veras are all noteworthy. Would love for Kath to figure it out too, but growing a bit pessimistic on that one.3 points

Hey guys the bums we have in AAA are not any better than the bums we have in MLB. Carry on.3 points

Right now since this team is toast I would stick Colas and Sosa out there everyday, they’re not going to get any better in Charlotte so give them extended playing time. That was a good AB by Colas and got himself a base hit.3 points

This team doesn't have a lead off hitter, currently. So it is kinda hard to hold that part against Grifol. No one on this roster, can competently do that job.3 points

And why do I think this may be a holdover from Jose? Think he always informed management when he didn’t feel 100%? The mistake here was releasing the statement that Robert was pulled as a managerial decision. Throwing a player under the proverbial bus - publicly - almost always turns out badly especially on a team playing as poorly as the Sox. Say he was pulled as a precaution and deal with the issue in the clubhouse.3 points

VII is Latin for the last time we have to play these guys this year.....in the regular season that is.3 points

2020 to 8/12/21: 103-73 8/13/21 to present: 113-123 The best it would ever get was the field of dreams game. A game that didn’t even really matter much. That was our World Series with this bunch. That was enough for them. That one regular season game. What a shame it was so fleeting.3 points

Just another case of a player being paid before he’s ever done anything and being totally comfortable with whatever results happen afterwards. Moncada, Eloy and him are all in the same boat when it comes to this. Robert doesn’t even know his own coaching staff yet we have expect him to make simple adjustments at the plate or watch tape of how pitchers are throwing to him. Pure laziness with being comfortable with where they are at, it’s that simple.3 points
-
Robert doesn’t know the coaches names, doesn’t know who is in the line up. Why do I think if he was with another organization, he wouldn’t have these issues? This to me is an indictment of the White Sox organization.. He needs some mental development. Send him down. I think if he was a Ray, he might be MVP. They would have forced him to learn what he needs to know. Just more accountability issues.3 points

Trade his ass. He’s acting like an asshole this season.3 points

It's even more bizarre. Robert said he had a tight hammy so he decided he was going to half ass it today. He told Eloy and Andrus, but no one on the coaching or training staff. When Pedro asked him after he loafed if he was OK he said yes. So they benched him. Robert doesn't know Charlie Montoya's name. Either Eloy or Elvis eventuallly told Pedro what was up.R Chuck is so dismayed.3 points
