It’s been so exhausting being a fan of this team for about two full years now. Seemingly every story is negative and embarrassing.

I wanted to give Pedro a chance this year but he hasn’t shown anything to earn a second year.

This is all BS. I understand the fanbase has gone complete 180 on Anderson, which is fine. Last night, the only thing Anderson did wrong was he not landing a clean one on Ramirez. Ramirez was the asshole in the incident and instigator. He slides in hard to every base (which is 100% fine and I applaud his way of playing the game), then he's going to complain about getting "tagged hard" ? What kind of b**** ass move is that? And if you look at the replay, Anderson didn't even tag him hard. Then it was Ramirez who instigated by shoving Anderson's leg out of the way as Anderson stood over him after the tag. 100% I'd have beef with that if I'm Tim Anderson.

Whatever the reason, Anderson embarrassed himself by starting the fight then being knocked on his ass. I felt like his reaction after the scuffle was only because his pride (and face) took a hit

God forbid a guy playing for a dogshit organization, having a bad season, where he obviously played hurt for a good portion of it, shows some fire, frustration, and balls. When some punk ass on a divisional rival gets in his face over a routine play... What? Of all the things to complain about recently, I can't believe this is actually one of them. In hockey, it isn't about winning or losing the fight. It's about stepping up. Ramirez is a fucking punk who has been showing the Sox up and strutting around for a couple seasons now. TA finally had enough and said f*** you. He should be getting praised, not ridiculed or laughed at.

Ramirez landed a lucky haymaker while Anderson was off blanced and opened up. This happens even to the great boxers ( see Pacquiao vs Marquez IV). Even Joe Rogan analyzed the video, which was hilarious that we (The Sox) finally made it big ? Except Ramirez has never been thrown out of a game in his life. Never argued with an umpire. Best work ethic on team. Almost a pristine reputation in that clubhouse and Francona even called him "revered."

A team should be able to withstand that. Our guys should be able to participate in the WBC. The fact that it apparently made a difference means the culture was shitty anyways But fathom is right. There needs to be a total house cleaning. Including Pedro.

According to DVS of the Sun-Times in his story today when Anderson is suspended Monday or Tuesday it will be the fourth time in five years. That's your "face of the franchise / change the game" folks.

The Cleveland franchise has disrespected the game and mankind for nearly all of its existence, far more than this nonsense spewed by Jose and Tito. So shocking why Eloy pulls so many hamstrings and groins. LOL! Again this only happens because there are no leaders on this team to kick Eloy and others in the ass, as well as coaches and a manager making sure the players stretch better. Sox have literally been one of the most embarrassing teams in baseball for the last 3 years. Before that, they were just a poorly run organization... Now it has gone from embarrassing to flat out comical. It's a joke. Sox are the butt of the joke for a lot of reasons, hard to fathom paying hard earned money to support this clown show right now. JR is so hard headed, he will continue to own and mismanage this team just to spite those incredibly pissed off. FU Jerry, FU front office, but bottom line is unfortunately the jokes on me. The jokes on us. We are the losers, JR and his band of fools are living the good life and our fandom is doing nothing but pissing us off. Time to step away for a while, send a message that finally might be heard. Oakland A's style...6k fans a game style. Bud light abandonment style.

Fun things you can also do when challenged to a fight on a baseball field, instead of fighting or "looking bad/weak for backing down" (not a direct quote of anyone; just summing up): look completely bored/unimpressed with the dumbass yelling at you, then slowly turn your back on him and fold your arms exaggeratedly flick away the imaginary dirt/filth from your arm/wherever the dumbass poked at you make the Razor Ramon/Scott Hall finger-waggling/ooh-I'm-scared gesture, complete with accompanying facial expression if opponent puts fists up, take one step back, go up on your toes and take a comical 19th-century bareknuckle boxing stance with hands pointed inward, draw a line in the dirt with your cleats and dare them to cross it, then draw another one Ali shuffle in circling pattern wait until opponent is being held back by multiple people, then do the pantomime "let me at him/fighting-against-restraint" gesture to indicate they're not really trying to break free

AJ flattened Barrett with a clean hit while Barrett was blocking the plate. Then Barrett sucker punched AJ and it hardly phased him. He just looked at Barrett like "WTF is your problem?" Cubs fans post the still pic of Barrett's fist on AJ's jaw and try to make it seem like Barrett kicked AJ's ass as a metaphor for the Cubs beating the Sox, when in reality it was just the opposite.

This dude is so good he deserves a thread in the palehose forum. He's only 21 and absolutely outclassed A+. He had an OPS of 1.088. so far in AA, he has crushed it (only 4 games). He looks like a mega prospect that is destined to be ranked top 5. It's crazy how much he looks like Corey Seagar at the plate. A guy like him panning out at SS would do wonders for this org. I hope he can stay healthy. Seems like that has been an issue.

Can't believe this hadn't been talked about more. I'll usually defend Sox players regardless of whether they're right or wrong but if you look at the whole story starting Friday TA looks like a tool.

Seems emblematic of the broken state of the Sox fanbase that an opposing player completely misunderstands what happens to him on a play and gets real mad about nothing which triggers a fight... and our fans pile on our player who got mad enough to fight about someone instigating like that. I'll always be a Sox fan but the way fans have treated Tim throughout the season is despicable and embarrassing IMO and has made me distance myself from fan communities.
