I'll wait until Fangraphs updates our playoffs odds from 0.0% to 0.1% before I start getting excited again7 points

Not everything is pointing up, but a lot of things are right now, and it is exciting to have young players come up and actually look like they can hang. One of these days, one of these position players will come up through the organization and won’t be traded for, but for now this is working. I need this Ishbia plan to speed up because I don’t want Jerry holding the football when Getz needs to get something that we all recognize is needed5 points

That's fine, I'm scheduled to tell people to get off my lawn from 6:00 to 7:00....I might have to miss the last 2 innings though.4 points

I wonder if Luis Robert isn't a casualty of the new approach. In his 5-WAR year, he only had 30 walks all season. In this, his worst year, he already has 25. The new approach may help Robert in the long-run if he sticks with it....but for the Sox, the run is about 6 weeks. I'm certainly thrilled with the new direction overall.4 points

05/01/25 Chicago White Sox activated 2B Chase Meidroth from the 10-day injured list.4 points

Oh it’s 100% the owner. We got the best uniforms, Sox logo is iconic, it’s FN Chicago. On the flip side, the owner refuses to pay market rates, they don’t make serious hires, far behind the times of today’s game. JR is killing this franchise.3 points

What bothers me is you got momentum from yesterday's win and you take the wind out of the sail with this s%*# lineup.... Palacios 4th? Did he sell his soul for that. Any team hitting Palacios 4th deserves to be laughed at3 points

It’s based on JR and players not wanted to play for him as an owner. Cuts corners always.3 points

Cleary they didn't ask Josh Barfield his opinion and those 31 players weren't privy to Getz vision.3 points

Why don't we let this work itself out. We won't know for another 2-3 years if Taylor is a starter or relief pitcher, Like Sale and Crochet. Right now just enjoy the kid pitch and help the beloved.3 points

If my kids baseball practice gets cancelled tonight, I might try to get out to this one. I usually get home plate seats from my company for Sox games but our owner forgot which Chicago team I liked and gave me those tickets for the Cubs game in a few weeks. When I reminded him im a White Sox fan he said "Oh sorry that's right, ask me again when they come to town, I can't even give those tickets away."3 points

Getz has been a GM for like a year and a half. In Kenny Williams' first year or two, he traded for the wrong player because he had a similar name to the guy they wanted. What do you think everyone's reaction here would be if that happened today? I always liked Kenny Williams but how are you comparing a guy who held the job for like 15 years to a guy who has had about 20 months?3 points

Things are definitely looking better, but can we please Bring up Baldwin and get rid of Rojas.3 points

That and seeing careers die here. Imagine an AL batting champ not in big league baseball. There is something toxic that players don't want to reveal.2 points

Ah crap Elko with another K. That’s really gonna affect the return when he demands a trade to the Dodgers at the deadline2 points

Elko isn't going to work with this approach. He's gotta start looking for fastballs early.2 points

I really wish Robert wouldn't give me hope every 10 games or so. It makes me extra mad when he sucks the next game.2 points

16-21 in May and June so far, by my count. 70 win pace. Feels like a juggernaut compared to April and to all of last year.2 points

These are the current memes: 1) The presentation of any previous reporting of organizational hires that didn't result in multiple championships is evidence that any current hires will result in 20 more years of losing. 2) The fact that TLR and JR are still alive means that any positive developments will always be reversed and defunded. 3) Any front office personnel hired in the last 40 years who remain employed with the Sox is definitive evidence that any negative argument is factually true. 4) Every injury in the Sox organization is indicative of a failed approach over 50 years to sports medicine. 5) Anecdotal evidence of failure is unimpeachable. Data showing progression are surely all lies delivered by the lapdog media to maintain access.2 points

I kind of think good franchises have farm systems. So there you go. Getz has the right idea even if a wrong execution . Fire him if you want to. Keep the outline.2 points

Sox took 8 walks tonight and over the last 2 weeks they lead the AL in walks .The Getz vision in action.2 points

With Albertus coming back and probably heading out to Kanny soon, I'd like to see Bonemer to WS - Antonacci to BIR - Jacob Gonzalez to CHA, he's been swinging it pretty well and carrying a healthy SLG/OPS over the past 5-6 weeks.1 point
