Yes, but those two still cost less than 1 year of Leury…and ten times less than Eric Hosmer still owed.  Peanuts.

Yeah well, the FO is a cluster F for sure and bad money was spent, I just think they're too stubborn to admit Gavin Sheets and AJ Pollock weren't good enough bridges to big time question marks in Colas/Cespedes to go spend for a Happ type, but who knows, I'm just speculating.

So much for Gallo getting DFA'd like people on here were saying was going to happen. Beeter isn't a great prospect, probably a Sean Burke equivalent, but that's not a nothing give in exchange for a rental.  I hope the Sox are interested in Gallo this off-season because his profile is something the Sox can really use.
