I figure I am not the only one to notice his results or the fact that when he's on the mound and the camera zooms in , he doesn't look confident. He looks dejected. Maybe its just me. He is a huge part of the bullpen if you are in the playoffs with no Crochet. Wondering if he needs some low leverage situations to hopefully regain confidence/execution. Katz needs to fix him.5 points

Colas injury minor from what I’ve been told. Should be back this weekend hopefully. Also, we talked to Andy Barkett for Tuesday’s podcast. New minor league hitting coordinator. I think he’s already paying dividends with some of the performances this year. There seems to finally be an org wide hitting plan which is positive.5 points

He's a RH hitting firstbasman. As you have told us many times, he has very little value. No loss.4 points

Andrew Vaughn was hit by a 94 mph fastball in the wrist. There is no amount of playing both games of a doubleheader that will make your bones stronger.4 points

I realize that I am in the minority here, but that whole Bill Walton shtick was cringeworthy....I muted it.4 points

protect Katz at all costs. This dude has taken the Sox from near the bottom to around the top or at the top when it comes to pitching development using analytics.3 points

I have never seen such an injury prone group of players in my 66 years as a White Sox fan. I don't get it. Back in the day, the starting team played nearly every game together. Fox and Aparicio started nearly every game together for several years, including both ends of a Sunday doubleheader separated by less than 30 minutes. There's the old baseball axiom that you get in condition for playing baseball by playing baseball not working out in a gym.3 points

I like that major broadcasters keep hiring Benetti to call games and some Sox fans are like "this guy sucks, take him away!" Benetti rocks. Happy for him that he gets more national exposure and glad the Sox have him paired with Stoney, who is a good balance with him.3 points

Who cares if he's ready to start or not? I would hope the entire organization would care.2 points

Look it's not any fan's fault the Sox screwed everything up this off season. I was the biggest proponent of giving the QO to Rodon and then resigning him. The Sox made their bed. I was just giving you the facts as they stand now. They have Jack and Squat to replace Keuchel with that doesn't fuck with how the rest of the team is constructed. As bad as Keuchel looks right now and last year you just don't rid yourself of a healthy arm in early May. There is a slight chance he can pitch better. This is called insurance in case someone else goes down .2 points

The guys who complain about our broadcasters complain about national guys and everyone else as well. Edit: wait, I can say fuck but not b****?2 points

The medical staff knew it would be longer. They waited this long to tell anybody so they woudn't call up Mendick or some other AAA player that Tony would overuse until Vaughn is back.2 points

Was there last night and the place was rocking, and loaded with Sox fans. Almost a playoff-type atmosphere. Who says the crosstown is dead? Anyway, great win, and thanks to Foster from saving me from what could have been a brutal night.2 points

The only really odd part about this one is that the White Sox continued their pattern of underestimating injury recovery times. “It’s a bruise he will be fine tomorrow” then 5 days later “he’s on the IL”. Shouldn’t someone be able to say “oh that’s a pretty bad bruise this might take a week” faster than this?2 points

If you get hit with smaller baseballs at 85 mph it builds immunity to normal size baseballs at 94 mph.2 points

Nothing about the batters coming up said we needed a left handed reliever in this situation.2 points

This team is a mess and needs a fucking wake-up call. Given the GM & manager are likely off-limits, I think it’s time for Dallas to be DFAed. He’s an automatic loss at this point and would make a perfect sacrifice given his veteran status. Also, with an off-day this coming Thursday, we can skip his next start and buy us a bit more time for Cueto to be ready. What do you guys think? Is now the time to cut bait on Keuchel? If not now, how much rope do you give him? Either way, something big has to happen to snap this team out of its funk.1 point

Sosa walking more, striking out less, and hitting for more power is an interesting development.1 point

I think it's really encouraging how comfortable he seems to be throwing the breaking stuff. And he throws strikes. The fastball sits around 92 MPH per the broadcast, but it sure seems like he has the frame to add size and some velocity. Baseball America's scouting report notes as much.1 point

yet game threads start ripping him apart nearly every time a reliever comes in and walks the lead-off guy lol. He's one of the biggest strengths in the entire org right now.1 point

I wonder what incentive-laced, opt-out-ridden, insulting offer they gave. Happy they had a seat at the table.1 point

I'm all for Bentheadi getting network gigs full time. I can take Stone ok because of his pitching insights.1 point

Who cares if Lopez is or isn't stretched out? Keuchel gives them 3 IP every start anyway. What will they be losing by starting Lopez? 1 inning?1 point

The improvement has already started. This group has gone from "WTF are you doing" to decidedly mediocre. Eventually the guys you count on will start getting into their big months, and the offense will really start to turn over. Bonus points will be out there for how many healthy starters you get shove into the line up at once.1 point

It was definitely odd but at the same time Tony has been setting him up with lefties and he is walking those guys too. I guess my biggest complaint about last night is he got the 8th when Graveman only threw like 6 pitches the inning before. It was a forced move that was just not needed1 point

I love this because it's "likely Hall of Famer or current reliever, more likely to be a reliever." Like, no kidding Caulfield.1 point

Yea I get it where we are all mad about every injury and we are all doctors now. I know, they haven't looked capable since Herm stepped away. Just not gonna sit here and blame them when he was hit by a pitch like they could have mitigated that1 point

I'm a lot less worried after watching some of these pitching performances. There is still a lot of promising young talent on the staff and it's getting better every day. That said, I think 90 wins is the goal now or even 88. Just win the division and go from there.1 point

Reading a lot of good reviews for Strange 2. If you wish to remain unspoiled you better hit twitter and mute a whole bunch of words like "Dr strange" "multiverse of madness" "Scarlett witch" and "Illuminati"1 point
