It's almost as if this team lacks an effective manager to get them in the right mindset.

The only thing that would really concern me is that once again, the Sox would conduct a sham search instead of doing a legitimate one casting a wide net and see who would be interested...someone from outside "the family" with new ideas and a new way at looking at their issues.

I'd say it's more likely than not that he's not the manager next season. He won't leave though. He'll say that he doesn't have the energy to manage every day and they'll make him a special assistant to either Kenny or Rick, and he'll still have some input on player decisions when any input is too much.

One of the many things I don’t understand about Jerry. I understand loyalty, but that’s Hahn spending like 30 million on a combined zero fWAR for the season, in the middle of the “window” How can you be ok spending those resources that resulted in…this.

Would this be the right time to point out that over the last 15 days, Zavala is 4th on the Sox with a .867 OPS and Leury Garcia is 16th with a .000 OPS? This is when I should mention that, right?

JR should have a mantle in every room of his homes dedicated to Michael Jordan. If he didn't inherit him when he bought the Bulls, he would be sitting on 1 Championship in almost 80 combined years as a pro franchise owner.

Think about it, no one under 40 or so cares what Tony did for the Sox in the 80s. All he’s going to be remembered for in Chicago now is the complete disaster his second tenure was.

I still can't believe the Tony stans that we're flaunting the "Tony's boys don't quit" nonsense. Not only was that slogan made for a fun team managed by Renteria, but much like La Russa, this team has absolutely no energy.

But realistically, this should be the end of the road for this group. This season is the biggest single failure in my 38 years as a White Sox fan. Everyone needs to go from KW on down and the roster also needs a major shakeup. Go give Mike Chernoff a President of Baseball Ops title and let him burn this shit to the seems.

When it stops becoming profitable, then he will do something. As long as it rains cash they could trot children out there and he would be happy. He doesn't care about the results. He cares about the cashflow.

I know it sucks but we have to root for this team to totally tank in these last 35 games. That is the only chance of significant change happening. If they finish around the .500 mark JR and TLR will use the injury excuse as the reason for a poor season and just run the same shit back next year. This thing has to be burned down. There has to be a new GM, Manager, and entire coaching staff.. Also the entire training staff has to be let go and they need to bring in a full time nutritionist. Almost everyone on this team is 10-15 pds overweight and out of shape. Your a professional athlete. Take care of your body. Other than Cease, Kopech, Vaughn, TA, and Robert everyone else is available for trade. Build with youth, speed, and defense. Get only players who are passionate about the game and about winning. Now I realize JR looks at this team as nothing more than an investment that is gaining value whether it wins or not so the chances of any of this happening while he is still in charge is probably next to none. But we can hope.

As it deserves to be. Tony was always horseshit with the Chicago White Sox, took advantage of steroids and coasted off of superior FOs when Jerry placed him in Oakland and later in Saint Louis. He still fucked up two of the three Oakland World Series despite being heavy favorites.

Easily the most boring and disappointing Sox team I can remember, especially considering the lofty expectations at the beginning of the season. Fortunately I have better things to do than to sit through this shitfest.
