So Burger, Mocada. Hendtiks,Crochet... that guy was right, Hahn is building depth in Charlotte.5 points

The way we are being handled by the Royals of all teams should wrap a bow on anyone’s hopes for this season.4 points

Jeff Cohen of Sox Machine sure did nail it with his astute baseball observations that Rick Hahn has really developed a strong Triple-A club to supply the White Sox big league team with ample talent. https://soxmachine.com/2023/05/credit-white-sox-rick-hahn-for-building-roster-depth-in-triple-a-charlotte/ First paragraph: Rick Hahn isn’t getting much love these days, but early returns suggest he did at least one thing really well in 2023. Thanks to Hahn, the Triple-A Charlotte Knights is home to ample roster depth for his major-league squad. Third paragraph: Thus far, the Knights have supplied the White Sox with 11 players: Jake Burger, Lenyn Sosa, Jesse Scholtens, Adam Haseley, Tanner Banks, Billy Hamilton, Alex Colomé, Nick Padilla, Keynan Middleton, Sammy Peralta and most recently Carlos Perez. Scorecard: Of the 11 sent up: Jake Burger IL, Billy Hamilton - IL, Jesse Scholtens - back down, Tanner Banks - back down, Sammy Peralta - back down, Alex Colomé - DFA3 points

It sure would be nice to still have Reese McGuire at catcher. Oh that's right...another horrific trade by Hahn for Diekman. Reese was a superior catcher defensively to Seby or Yasmani. Reese was better at calling pitches, blocking balls in the dirt and receiving. He was and still is a better hitter than both of them. 2023 BA OBP SLG OPS Zavala .170 .220 .319 .539 Grandal .257 .341 .413 .754 McGuire .322 .355 .390 .745 Thanks Rick Hahn. Another of your trade deadline debacles!3 points

Gio looked like he was pitching with a purpose. Show these idiots in our FO/ownership a thing I guess.3 points

"They don't quit" is a sometimes reasonable mantra for an amateur team that is outmanned. It's absolutely patronizing for a professional team.2 points

Easy to resort to hyperbole but cmon ... these guys never quit?? We should NEVER hear that from Bennetti/Stone again. These guys DO NOT CARE. Case closed. The Royals have a horrible baseball team. 9-1 is one large LOL. Folks this pitching rotation all things considered is one of the worst in Chicago White Sox history. Cmon. Don't rat me out for hyperbole, just agree. And our STARS? Robert needs coaching so badly. Just fricking drop him a slider and you get him to whiff. We've got two major league bats on the the team 'maybe' in Vaughn and Burger. And Burger is so bad a fielder his value is not important. More hyperbole? Hahn should resign or be fired tonight. Case closed. This team reeks, is going nowhere and it's his fault. And his choice of Pedro? Cmon. Laughingstock choice. At least over the hill Tony had the team .500 somehow. My post may seem outlandish but I don't think so. This Sox team blows and it's Mr. Hahn's fault.2 points

10 of the 11 strike outs were on pitches out of the zone. I think they were also all offspeed pitches.2 points

I've wondered how 1977 would have played out if Wilbur would have been healthy. We ran out of gas mid august. With 2 healthy knees the Sox might have hung around til the end2 points

That's how you fix a bullpen. Keep sorting out dorks until you find ones who suck less than the first bunch did. So Hahn knows something. But Colome was a hoot and a half the first time here. My stomach lining will never be the same. Useful for a couple of years. Worth Narvaez? I say yes.2 points

Im not sure they are a .500 team when healthy. The pitching on this team is non existent. Giolito may have figured it out again for a bit before he is traded. Cease seems to be a one year wonder. Clevinger and Lynn are not good and Lynn will be traded. Kopech is not good. The bullpen is a dumpster fire. Will Hendricks be the same after his illness?2 points

I think the only way to change your perspective on the season is hope the rest of the division keeps getting worse than we expected, and the Sox hit one of those lucky health streaks in Sept-Oct where everyone’s actually healthy after the win the division with 81 wins. Then maybe they get hot and give it a ride.2 points

What the Sox need to do is catch Zavala with Giolito and Cease (move the rotation so that they are 1 and 3) and stick fWAR with Lynn, Kopech and the scumbag. Let your starters be comfortable with their preferred catcher. Grandal is subpar at every aspect of catching but framing. Lucas and Dylan can't be confident Grandal will catch their best pitches which may break in the dirt, and thus have to hold back everytime he is behind the plate. Dylan Cease Catcher Splits (OPS Allowed): .524 Reese McGuire 6 Games .547 Seby Zavala 23 Games .728 Yasmani Grandal 40 Games Lucas Giolito Catcher Splits: .613 James McCann 37 Games .665 Seby Zavala 22 Games .731 Yasmani Grandal 30 Games2 points

And Rocky’s b**** ass wouldn’t even address what they are doing today let alone the sins of the past. What an embarrassment of an owner, man and until they address the past or future, the organization. Here’s the Rocky Wirtz outburst.1 point

It does seem like the Bataan death march around here. I'm turning 61 in 3 weeks. If I get my wish, JR sells the team to Mark Cuban.1 point
