Moncada now 1-14 since Grifol benched him for a scheduled day off. This is not a good look.5 points
-
Yes by all means let’s sit Robert while Andrus continues to play every day Grifol said Moncada’s day off the other day was not due to the toe, just a scheduled day off….and since that day off he’s 1/10 How about we just leave the hot bats in the freaking lineup every day until they cool off?5 points
-
I know you've gotta rest him some, but I hate Luis sitting when he's this hot and impactful.5 points

Is it just me or does Elvis appear to be physically transforming into Leury4 points

If sitting Robert once every 10 games keeps him off the IL, I’ll happily take 145 games played. Would I have had him in there? Absolutely. But I get the logic. Yaz sat because day game after night with day game tomorrow. Pretty simple on that one.3 points

Not sure about that. I think plenty of posters were rather be proven right that RH, KW and JR and inept instead of seeing the Sox win and be proven wrong.3 points

Another game that illustrates how terrible Hahn is at his job. How is that the bottom of your lineup against a RHP?3 points
-
Day Sox get great pitching of course they can’t score. Some things never change.3 points

Getting down to basics, if you looked up "People who wore out their welcomes" in the Encyclopedia Britannica, Ozzie Guillen's picture would be the first one shown. Don't miss him one bit.3 points

I miss nothing about Ozzie's last three years, and I am glad another era is not starting.3 points

They’ve pretty much punted the season already with their offseason, what else do you expect?2 points

Inspiring effort from the boys today... Another series loss2 points

I miss Hawk today, because at least he would have had a on-air meltdown about these umps and called out this bs2 points
-
Of course we finally get our pitching in order and we can't score... Through 10 games I don't see how this team is gonna be any better than .500.2 points

The umpiring in this game has been nothing short of dreadful.2 points

Yeah, hilarious in a game where only 1 hit in four innings and a ton of routine pop ups and flyouts is "crushed"2 points
-
It’s truly amazing how they’ve failed to fill the 2B spot for so long2 points
-
Kopech’s stuff just doesn’t seem to fool anybody. His stuff gets fuckin crushed2 points

I'd love to know why Kopech's slider doesn't generate whiffs anymore2 points

If resting Luis on a Sunday in early April is part of a plan to have him play 140+, I'll deal with it. This is like a 13 games/14 days stretch with this being the shortest turnaround of the bunch.2 points

Nah, it was more about throwing it in the face of the fans who have been disappointed with the lousy start to the season. Everybody here would love the Sox to win and be good, but if you’re going to try and throw something in their faces maybe don’t use an example that actually had just happened.2 points

Soxtalk—the place where rooting for the White Sox and being hopeful 9 games into their season is “gloating.”2 points

This is a pretty silly thing to gloat about considering one of them were literally just DFA for how awful they’ve been through 1 week.2 points

I have no problem with reading an opponents signs. It’s been a part of the game for as long as they’ve been using signs. What the Astros did was not that. There is no comparison and to do so is an absurd false equivalency. Even if the Sox had the Astros signs in 2005, it takes nothing away from their dominant series. It also sounds like Ozzie is full of s%*# here and is desperately trying to be relevant in a game that has passed him by. Something that he had a hand in but still refuses to do the work to get back into.2 points

Zavala did nothing wrong. I assume he didn’t even know Cruz was seriously injured, but all he said was what the hell was that. I was expecting way worse.1 point

With the new balanced schedule...84-85 wins might get it done. Can no longer beat up the Tigers like 2020-21. Until the Sox prove they can consistently beat the Twins and Guardians and utilize home field advantage...they're going to be stuck around .500. Absolutely no insurance for injuries in that pen and one serviceable minor league starter in Martin.1 point

Seby did nothing wrong. His reaction in the heat of the moment is perfectly understandable after nearly being run over by a large human. Santana over reacting was the dumb part. That play is all on Cruz. Anyone blaming Seby can pound sand.1 point

Can't say we haven't seen this before...Sox explode for double digit runs one day then the next fall flat on their faces. Lose four of six to mediocre to bad teams in San Francisco and Pittsburgh. Lose the game because they have a second baseman playing right field and he can't make a catch then once again with a runner on third and less than two out they can't score him. If they can't beat the Giants and Pirates what's going to happen when they have to face Baltimore, Philadelphia, Tampa Bay and Toronto the next few weeks?1 point

That was a big game. Robert should have played. To get shut out in a rubber game seems king of pathetic to me. Like Sox were OK with getting one of three on the road. This team could go either way. Right now I sense .500 ceiling again, likely a little below, kind of like the team's current record. No chance this is a contender tho. Kinda sad cause Sox have had contenders before.1 point

I was legitimately worried that he was toast based on the posts I was reading after that last start. Just listen to me and not the residents of insane asylum lol.1 point
-
Everyone was calling for him to be DFA because he was awful. He was DFA. Poster comes in here mocking all the upset fans saying “I thought a bunch of these guys should have been DFA” Whats so hard for you to understand about what I said?1 point

Because Soxtalk has so many rational thinkers and scouts in its ranks ?1 point

Tough one, but very happy to see Kopech rebound. Need a 4-2 week next week.1 point

We’re already proven right, they suck. Look at the product on the field. believe me, I would rather be praising Hahn as the best GM in the league as we are on the way to winning a 4th central title in a row.1 point

Unless Luis Robert Jr got a day off out of caution for something why is this guy needing a day off? Jesus christ.1 point
