Fuck Ricky Renteria and honestly fuck Hahn & KW for not telling him what to do. I’m sure Parrot will hit a HR today given all the hate, but our process is completely broken with EE as our DH today.

I tuned in for hawk, he is such an old man its hilarious. First he answers the phone call (that he was presumably expecting) with a gruff "Hello!?! Who is this??" Then he can't hear them because his TV is too loud, but he can't figure out how to turn it down, which finally leads him to his first anecdote - how "they" (his kids I am guessing) bought him some new fangled TV and he hates it.

Bringing him out I didn't really have a problem with. The pep talk and leaving him out there after the 4 pitch walk, that was a big problem for me.

I can honestly say I saw it coming.

How was games 3 and 4 of the 2008 ALDS not “win or go home”? They were both elimination games for the Sox.

This is exactly why I was against signing him last winter.

Honestly it wouldn't have been a bad time to see what Collins could do. It really pisses me off how they've used (not used) him the last 1.5 years. Brining in that fat fuck whose name I already have forgotten and giving him all that time last year instead of Collins was so dumb.

I think that was a good decision. It was a 4 run lead and giolito was dealing. That was exactly the time to stretch the starter and save the pen, the no off days post season means you have to take some chances. I would have pulled gio one batter earlier after the lead off got on but even giving him one extra batter was not that terrible of a decision. With 4-0 bottom 8th sox had a 96% win expectancy and with the lead off on that lowered to 92%. That was the right situation to take a chance with their best starter as the Sox pen will be used a ton the next couple days.

Exactly. Next series we can make adjustments, but we need outfield defense. And I know people are saying Mazara's defensive metrics are fine, but we need speed to track down any balls that get out there. We need speed to get to foul balls.

Yeah those in-game interviews were a schmozzle, and I thought the pair of announcers were pretty boring. However, I thought they knew the White Sox pretty well. Knew the basic storyline on most of the players. Not terrible.

Mazara is just slapping hits to a vacated left side of the infield. I guess in some scenario you still can see him hitting a bomb moreso than the just coming off a long injury , 0-4 w/ 2 2Ks Leury. I can understand that and I'll still take Garcia's speed in the OF and on the bases and more power shown this year than the Big Chill ( Nomars nickname in TX.) You never know how that extra 1/2 step is going to benefit you somewhere.

The ESPN broadcast was absolutely horrible. They don't talk about the game, they just tell pointless stories about the players that go on 5x too long... I wish you had options for different broadcasters or turning off the broadcast, kind of like you can with video games lolll.. Jessica Medoza needs to gooooooo LOL

Bassit's slider usage is 2.9% this season. He added a cutter he is throwing 23% of pitches and his slow curve is 10%. 54% fastballs averaging about 92. Focus on the fastball or a hanging curve and Sox should destroy this guy
