It's kinda funny that Zach Remillard would kill the baseball most Spring Trainings, play decent defense, yet the Sox only gave him a chance after pretty much being out of options of other people to use. I know the league may very well figure him out, but it's pretty comical that he sat down in the minors for 7 years. Honestly, he seems to me to give you a professional at bat most times up there and he hustles. He really is a guy that is great to root for....I wish we had more of those.4 points

Who cares? Winning a division with 75 wins and getting bounced in Round 1 is no different than losing the division with 75 wins and not making the playoffs.4 points

Someone has to follow the rules around here. I checked out early to hit up a bar for the Wemby debut with some hoop heads. Looks like the Sox hit some balls hard and in the air. Lets keep doing that. Get some trade value.3 points

Correct. It sucks being “this negative” but even seeing updates on Montgomery, Schultz….who cares? There is ZERO evidence that 1. The Sox FO knows how to develop and create consistent contributors to the ML Team 2. Even if they accomplish No. 1, there is no evidence to tell us the Sox can do it enough to field a competitive team for any length of time. It’s all pointless. We’re stuck in a perpetual cycle of suck. You want to have faith in this organization? Fine, totally your choice. But it’s totally devoid of any evidence, history or facts based on what has taken place on the field the last decade+2 points

Stone is probably speaking for Reinsdorf again. Part of his job description.2 points

Gio with a no hitter a few weeks ago and gets pulled after 6 innings, they limit these guys to 100 pitches but they get hurt anyway so what’s the difference.2 points

James Fox is really pumping this draft up though! Between whatever sap they take at 15 & Noah Schultz, I can't wait until these guys make the bigs only to be failed by organizational ineptitude.2 points

This whole organization is so bad, especially if Hahn’s job is safe. I feel bad for anyone drafted by them tomorrow.2 points

I watch because Robert is on the team . but I watch the Marlins, Brewers, & Reds more and more . there's some really good baseball being played by those teams.2 points

There is absolutely zero to root for with this team. Nothing to look forward to. Nobody close to a baseball player. No reason to watch, listen or go attend. I have problems. Please help me stop!!!!2 points

This season was over at the end of April...you know it, I know it and the White Sox themselves know it. Just counting down the days till the Bears open the season.2 points

Fangraphs playoff odds jumped all the way up to 2.3% after last night, so you’re tellin’ me there’s a chance.2 points

We can still win the AL Central Division. The All-Star break gives our guys a break and chance to recharge plus injured guys will be back. Don’t give up- don’t ever give up2 points

Kinda like when the Rays traded Joe Ryan for 2 months of 40 YO Nelson Cruz? If the Sox made that trade, this fanbase would be crucifying the FO.2 points

I want Rushing as the main piece from LAD. I wouldn't trade with TB because anyone they agree to part with will turn to s%*#, although to be fair we have a Ph.D in fucking up a young players development on our own, even without Tampa trying to sabotage us.2 points

Bauer got ripped to shreds. Probably replaces Clevinger on a $2-3 million deal. Okamoto was pride of fans for WBC appearance. Don’t really enjoy domed stadiums, but it was quite the experience. Yokohama fans were waving their flags and chanting throughout the game despite the result being a foregone conclusion from the middle of the game on. Reminds me of good ol days in 80s and 90s when fans would ride the El together and discuss the game and their favorite players and sports was more of a uniter than divider. Saw a lot of former big leaguer Lewis Brinson in CF for Giants…he cant be worse than Sox fourth outfielders. Shocked to see the beer vending girls dressed like cheerleaders … carrying mini kegs strapped on their backs to pour it out fresh and selling so many different concession items like churros and nachos with a mystery cheese and green sauce. Must burn 2-3 kg every game trying to service 50-55,000 fans. No tipping allowed. Every single vendor must have been female and under 25. Then there were the two cheerleading squads as well. Such a unique feeling to watch a game in a country where baseball is the #1 sport still and everyone has a favorite team or player…young and old. Like a religious pilgrimage of sorts. Hahn would not last long there…at all. Winning is everything. And so is following the team concepts.2 points

To be expected when your closer goes down first with cancer followed by standard White Sox injury management/ malpractice. Hahn’s acquisitions since were Colome, Shaw and Touki since the cancer announcement. This is what GMs in a multi-championship contention window do when their closer goes down for more than half a season.2 points

Not so good outing from Cease aside, and not really my kind of game, but I wish that we could have more games like this . The Sox are not going anywhere this season, or season's to come, for awhile, but last night was still fun and exciting . Luis Robert Jr. with another home run & now with 50 rib's . I don't care what anyone says, I still think rbi's matter.1 point

Yes to all of them. Although I’m at a point where I’m basically in favor of any trade. Churn the hell out of this roster please. Bonus points because these trades involve prospects I’ve heard of. Extra bonus points because you’re trading with three orgs that are great at developing players, so maybe they’re far enough along where the Sox can’t screw them up too much.1 point

How would people feel about these hypothetical trades?1 point

Nice to have a nice comeback win but just can’t get too excited as I don’t think these guys could come up with a 10 game winning streak in fact we have a tough 3 city 9 game road trip after the break including the first 3 in Atlanta.1 point

The radio team has been better since the end of the dual radio/tv Harry and Jimmy broadcasts. Always muted Hawk and Jason and kept the radio team on back when Sox games were televised over the air. Len was a great addition, hope he remains in the radio after Benetti leaves over the next year or two.1 point

They absolutely would have been far better. Everyone would "index" back one spot in the order. Graveman in the 8th, Kelly in the 7th (when he's going well), Santos/Middleton in the 6th (7th when Kelly starts to suck). Bummer and Lopez only pitching in "losing" situations.1 point

I've read this before but he does view the White Sox as a team he was to be with so I think things would need to go badly to make that happen. Criticize me, but I also don't think Connor McKnight is terrible?1 point

I disagree very much at 15. I think he's better than he showed this season. It's a no brainer if he gets to 15 when you're likely taking an underwhelming college hitter anyway. There are plenty of prep bats to take. I'd much rather gamble on Dollander than a 2nd rate college hitter.1 point

Yeah, he's a special kind of piece of s%*#. There's a reason why every team he plays for fucking hates him, and that is a good illustration.1 point
