  2. This is already my fourth favorite White Sox team over the past 30 years behind in order 2005, 2020 and 2006. They are underrated, will win 70 plus games assuming Cease is here to start the season, and will be a lot more enjoyable to watch on the field and support on and off the field. Disappointed I haven’t found a sports book here to bet over White Sox wins (62-64), but am trying my final few days.

  3. Wonder if the Ravens regret not trading for Cease

  4. Thanks for the insult? Maybe you've never worked for a company that runs things half-assed backwards, or maybe you're a yes-man yourself, but do yourself a favor and look up the top reasons good employees leave companies. It's not conspiracy.

  5. please let this be true. @Y2Jimmy0 You know anything?

  6. I said it before, I’ll say it again, Connor McKnight is a poor man’s Chip Caray. But whatever. You had to figure this worldwide search would lead to him once Monaco realized he had the same issues as Benetti, although he may eat his meatball sandwich a little more graciously. But Connor will kiss Brooks ring, and that’s the most important thing.

  7. They've spent more time "searching" for a new PBP person than they have their last 5 managers and the current GM combined. Wonder what hoops they are making them jump through for it to take so long.

  8. Another dumb article. I don't blame JR for this. It's good business if he can get the politicians to pay for it. I blame the dumbass politicians. I wouldn't give them a dime to build the stadium.

  10. For all we say about ex-Royals, think about what Braves fans are saying about us right now. Bummer trade, Reynaldo Lopez signing, Leury, now Yolbert, must be missing another one

  11. Agreed on Zaidman. Unlike several of his peers (Benetti included), his "announcer voice" and general smarmy bearing are a continuous advertisement for I went to Syracuse to become a broadcaster, and he's also one of the all-time hilariously cliched apologists for any team he covers -- Cubs, Bears, or DePaul. An immediate "change the station" guy for me, when he subs in on Mully and Haugh, that's a morning I won't be listening to that show. So yeah, compared to him, McKnight's a dream.

  12. Dude, I root for a baseball team. Being illogically negative is the flip side of the same coin as being illogically positive.

  13. Make sure to work out your core muscles regularly. Don't want to hurt your back from carrying all that water for the organization.

  14. I just can’t envision a scenario where Pedro doesn’t give Nicky Lopez near everyday reps.

  15. Naw, this kind of park will be fancy enough that it should get an actual legit business to sponsor it. This really should happen, it’s exactly what you do to build a great modern ballpark. Pretty much everyone wins. I’m not sure why we had to endure public talk of Nashville before this got put out!

  16. No they didn’t? I still don’t think Lopez is the OD 2B

  22. I like it. Should be a good candidate to trade at the deadline assuming he’s decent.

  25. McKnight has always been good to me. The other two guys are more qualified but I’d be fine with whoever. It’s a short-sighted decision regardless. I wonder if Jerry will have watch all of them eat and see which one he’s least offended by?

  26. He's still on the Sox site. Maybe he has an Oedipal hatred for his father and his ways. Wants to sleep with a stats-oriented approach.

  27. Schriffen is going to be a star PBP guy. He's awesome. I've just never heard him do baseball before so I don't know how that translates. But he bring the hype.

  29. Please, just not McKnight. He's so, so boring. I REALLY wanted Monaco, but Brooks and Jerry don't like their PBP having national prominence, apparently. ?

  33. Love how being a Top 30 prospect in terrible Sox systems sounds much better than the reality of this guy. Well I guess we do have their fifth and sixth starters entering 2023. MLB Network recently put out a 2B rankings with Ozzie Albies not included and Hoerner 10th...fwiw.

  37. This isn’t true. I’m sure this has already been assessed to some degree. Geotechnical and environmental soil borings sampled intermittently throughout the site will give you a good understanding of the soil characteristics from both a structural and environmental perspective. Guarantee this has been done on some level already.

  38. You know what they say about top talent leaving? Jerry can be loyal all he wants, but the way the Sox are run forces the talented individuals to seek out better opportunities and take them. That's why you have all these company yes men in the organization - they wouldn't be employed this long for other organizations.
