Realistically, we SHOULD have been at:

3 IP - Hagen
2 IP - Hicks
2 IP - Newcomb
2 IP - Taylor if close, anyone else if not

So many pitching changes. Venable would blow out his bullpen in the first two games of a longer series.

This is a big decision. We saw the Phillies get burned earlier today trying the same thing. Sox have done this more often though.
